Agame lasts 90mins ,would you walk out of a boxing fight after 9 rounds cos that guy is doing better than the other .

 

in the days before fancy seats and burgers we stood together
right till the end .but dont feel bad if you leave early its in your heart that
you turned up hail hail

 

like i said whats the point in sittin in a freezin cold stadium with no atmophere for ten minutes just watchin celtic run the game down and then havin to walk home after it .

the last few mins of some matches is the equivilent of watchin two boxers runnin around the ring not hitting each other if you have to draw a comparison .

 

Whats the point in going in the first place if its to cold for you ,thank * celtic are winning titles ,you make it sound like a chore .

 

well mate mabye we're a bit spoiled thease days . but SOME days it can be if i want to leave early i will i can see the frustration when we need a goal or it's an of or cl game but when we're 4 nil up don't see a problem .

i have seen a few people talkin about people leavin before the end at the 2-1 game wich i don't think happend .

 

and the fact the word * was used against fellow tims is shocking

 

It did happen A few "supporters" left early that game from my area. Bet you they felt stupid after they heard that big jan the man had scored.

 

I was utterly embarassed and fuming today......two of the lads I went to the game today left BEFORE half-time to go watch the grand national.

Totaly disgusted with them.

 

The missus left today 10 mins early as the wean took a tantrum

 

As much as I disagree with folk leaving early, it's their choice at the end of the day. But I'll always stay to the end.

In saying that, I'm livid when we're losing/drawing with about 10 - 15 minutes to go and "supporters" start leaving. That really * me off, why ditch the team they "support" in their time of need, when they really need your backing to inspire them on to a goal or two ?
But it's their choice, so there's no point in moaning about it, I suppose.

At least they turn up, unlike alot of the "support" who dont bother with any game other than Rangers and Champions League.

Sarcasim is so yesterday Nah kidding, i agree the OP was wrong to suggest all early leavers are *, some might have gone due to emergencys, but if people just leave for the sake of beating traffic etc etc well that would do my nut in.

 

It did happen at the Aberdeen game. I couldn't believe it, people were piling out. Do they not remember the amount of times we've won games late on - We're famous for it for * sake!!!!

Anyway, even if we are 4-0 up I don't understand the mentality of these Celtic fans. You don't see Old Trafford or Anfield half empty when they go 4 or 5 up do you? I'm sure it's just as cold in Liverpool and Manchester. So why have this half hearted support for Celtic?? Is it really that bad at games?? If it is such a chore why go at all?

 

I don't see the point in leaving after 80-85 mins when you have paid for a ticket and more importantly the mighty celts are playing.

of course there are always (good) reasons, that excuse suits a only a few thought, I doubt 2000 have to babysit at once. it's not like a football game lasted 3-4 hours. why can't people take their time for 2x45 min + halftime break for the celts? if you arrive 15-20 mins later at home does it really hurt you? why do they show up in the first time if time is such an important factor?

there's a similar phenomenon at the supermarkets. when people stand in the queue they are in a "hurry". but once they have paid their stuff, they met somebody they know just a few yards away from the cashier and start talking for 15 mins. so they were in a hurry while in the queue, wanted to get home fast, but all of a sudden found the time to talk to other guys. pure hypocrisy.

I bet most early leavers are like that. I still remember one time I was at CP. 2 sears were empty next to me and after 20-25 mins a couple showed up, talked with eachother and left after 70 mins. seriously, what was the point in that?

as Mr Nice said, there are supporters and customers. I'm not saying each and every early leaver is not a supporter, but most are customers in my eyes.

at the end of the day you can do with your ticket what you want they claim. they paid for it? I think that is very selfish. I thought we were in the stadium to support the best football on this planet? the team, celtic, has to be the most important thing in life for 2x45 mins, way bigger than any individual. put celtic in front of your own selfish and lazy reasons not to support the team ffs.

only because people people pay for their tickets doesn't mean they can do what they want. It's annoying. same goes with WGS, Aiden etc bashers at the game all the time. you don't have to right to spit your pish and move around all the time, you have the privilege to watch and support the mighty hoops.

 

Yeah its annoying I know I stay for the full game when I go but if the people who have paid for their ticket decide to leave early than to be honest theres * all you can do realistically.

 

I hate leaving early - I've done it twice both times as I had to get to Edinburgh to get a flight home (and still ended up running through the airport like a mad woman just to make it ).

There are genuine reasons for some people having to leave early but not the thousands that do it every week.

Yesterday i was sitting 2 rows from the back of the upper tier with my near 80 year old gran who asked if we should move down nearer the front for the last 10 mins to avoid the crowd going down the stairs and I just said what crowd - looked around with 10 mins to go and the place was emptying like there was no tomorrow - does my head in

 

i totally and whole heartedly agree that when people leave early in an important game without reason that this is annoying and i hate it .

but somone sais earlier liverpool and man u fans don't leave early
well theres a difference between playin chealse or aston villa and hamilton or st mirren

i think you should all get off yer high horse . celtic should think themselves lucky that fans are bustin there * off to buy season tickets to watch celtic get demoralised in this league.
