Scariest moment in a game....ever!

Right so I'm sitting playing F.E.A.R on PS3 and truly there are some bricking it moments in the game, lots of creepy sounds and ghostly images cutting across distant doorways, well freaking me out.

It got me thinking, what really is the scariest moment in a video game?

For me personally and I'm sure some of you will agree it has to go back to the original Resident Evil on PSone.

You know where this is going.....the devil dogs jumping through the window in the hall. First time I played that scene my heart stopped.

The Second for me and a close run in for 1st place is in Alien Trilogy again in the PSone. When your charging down a corridor and all of a sudden your motion tracker starts to beep! * *.....

fear is a scary game, all those shadows
try n play it with a suround sound system

 

When I was younger i played a lot of Resident Evil. I used to play in the dark and there was always this one part, no matter how many times I played it, I would still jump.

 

Ach away with all yer modern games. Altered Beast on the Megadrive drove fear into any mortal's heart.

agreed, friday the 13th on the amstrad, wooft, as soon as the 15 minute loading screen with the hockey mask with the knife through it came up i was bricking it, the screams wrere pretty haunting in it


silent hills a shout though, * pyramid head

 

Never playd any of the Silent Hill games but av heard they are dodgy, the resident evil gamesis obviously up there, especially 3 with nemises chasing you, shat maself hearing his big steps. the game ive shat myself at most recently was Siren : Blood Curse, my * thats scary.

 

well not frightened...but was playing cod the one where you have to ride on a boat and shoot the planes...well i had just got ps2 and had no memory card!! shittin me sel ..didn't want to got back to start

 

lol I think he pronounces it "WISE FWOM YOUW GWAVE" that was quite a scary game for a 5 year old though. Especially the animation for when he morphs into semi-animal freaks

 

I find it quite scay watching my brother play Resident Evil, horrible horrible horrible horrible game!!!!

Obviously the dog in resident evil is the scariest. I did * myself when i seen a death claw on fallout 3 and it chased me though, and it killed me lol

Resident evil for me aswell, ima bit hazy the dog part is the scene just before the spiderzombie or something mad like that jumping around the walls, its been years since ive played it

 

that game looks awesome !

 

It is mate very underrated probably due to it being a low budget game one thing with this game is you have to be dead patient with it the puzzles can be annoying its one of these point and click games.
