Marc Crosas

i cant believe why WGS doesnt play this guy. i think that him and brown in the center is the best combo that we have by far because he is happy to sit back ad let brown do what he does best. but for some reason he never gets played in the big games e.g. against rangers or dundee utd.

can anyone shed light on this for me?

 

Evidently he doesn't think Crosas is the best choice for these games. That's that, really. The best team for the occasion should be picked, not the best 11 players.

 

We tend to go for "battlers" in midfield for big games eg hartley , robson but i thought it was a mistake not playing him today

 

crosas should be playing week in weeek out he is one of the best technical players that we have and he also can pick a pass anywhere, I believe he would have had more of an impact today than what willo flood did

 

Crosas should never get picked for games against dundee utd or rangers . He is too lightwieght . Even Broonie was struggling the day with the strength of dundee utd midfielders .

 

That is why he should be getting picked for games like that so that it toughens him up a bit and then he will be a top class player, I think he is one of the best players that we have managed to get our hands on in recent years

 

Crosas i feel should be picked over harltey and robson and played in the center.
He is a excellent midfielder and plays the holding midfielder allowing brown a more free role Marc Crosas Crosas he can tackle shoot and pass better than fabregas marc crosas croasas

 

totally agree,he came from barcelona academy,he is a skillful midfielder,we need him contral our midfield,in fact ,WGS always love the new and loathe the old~

 

He will get his chance sooner or later still young and learning all the time.

 

I think he will be the complete player , great vision, passing is great, needs to harden up with his tackling but he will get there

 

Crosas has never been a match-winner for us, Hartley has.

Maybe that tipped it, DU away is a big game after all.

 

WGS would rather not loose the big games than push on to win them! I've no doubts that Crosas in the middle makes us a better team. If we want 4 in a row we must be bold and play attacking football. No more Caldwell in MF etc...

i agree crosas should be playing every game, the kid rarely makes a mistake. let brown be the hard one, you don't need two hard guys to control a midfield even in physical games and its not like marc can't tackle at all. he holds his own and his passing is second to none except maybe naka and he really does help us control games

 

exactly time we started playing like the dominant team again

instead of playing at the other teams game, as if we're scared

 

Agreed we seem to be worry about other teams line up and changing OUR team to suit. Hartley shouldnt get a look in to this team , I rate crosas more then Flood , Robson and Hartley (all spl class midfielders) we have reall talent in the Spaniard so lets use him

 

Not taking their tactics/tendencies into account is pure idiocy in my opinion, and smacks of arrogance. Saying that, we shouldn't be retooling our team every * game. It kills any momentum we have. Crosas is good and should start whenever he is healthy.

 

this is what i'm saying man, if we keep changing all the time it prevents the team gelling well. If we played our best team which was used to playing together we would be much more consistant

although sometimes you need to just win, and Hartley/robson are te people wgs normally relies upon this for - just recently its when we use them that we lose/ drop points

In fairness, though, I think we missed Mick a lot more than people on here (myself included) had ever dreamt of. The marking was reminiscent of Hibs a few months ago... truly one of the most dreadful displays I've seen in that front. He didn't really have a choice with the backline, but Crosas should definitely have played.
