Barry Bawbag the Scotland captain

Why the * is he the captain of our country? He's a * joke of a captain who doesn't have the minerals for a fight. I don't think the players round about him would look up to him, I know I wouldn't. Do you think its time for a change as Barry Bawbag is not the player that we are led to believe he is. We would be more suited to Caldwell or McMannus as our national captain instead of an average centre mid who fails to inspire.

Not to mention that he also misses 90% of Scotlands friendlies aswell !

 

Hes a wee *. Only wanted to play for Burley when Argetina came to town, and was then made captain. * is that all about, he had ony played a few comeback games for the huns then was put right into cente mid as captain. He wouldnt even be in my scotland team, Fletcher or McManus would be my captain.

 

McFadden as captain good shout too

 

I read the question wrong I thought it said "Should Ferguson be captain" and I voted no.

Anyway I don't think he should be captain because I'm not even convinced he should be in the starting 11.

 

surprised no one has mentioned scott brown for captain. i believe, he should be captain at celtic and for scotland

captain fs he seems to be the manager choosing what games he plays. imo id get him 2 *. there are players screaming for a chance to play for scotland. as for captain id go for broony

I think he should be captain, on form he's a very good player and one Scotland needs.

Apart from McManus he's the only one in the team who's got experience of captaining a team at a very high level, that experience is vital.

McFadden as captain? Laughable. Because he scores a 30 yard wonder goal against France

Brown is the only other player worthy of wearing the band and he's too inexperienced and too bad tempered atm.

Ferguson should be captain probably until the end of this campaign when he'll probably retire from International football anyway, then McManus will get it, but it should be Brown in the future.

 

I think Scott Brown will be a future Captain but Ferguson will do until the end of the campaign when he retires and Burley gets sacked. It wouldn't surprise me if Gordon Strachan took over after that.

according to huns he's past it. (their opinions ain't based on yesterday's game). I have been reading that for the past 2 years.

there used to be a time when I didn't feel comfortable when he was on the pitch for them. but lately he's been harmless. plus the way he has treated the national team in the past 2 years is a disgrace. friendly against an average country? barry is injured. last 1 or 2 world cup qualifying games (I think scotland already couldn't get the 2nd spot)? Barry was sick for these or that game(s).

I think scotland got better players than him.

may be the best for scotland would be when neither a celtic or hun player would captain them.

 

The only game they've won against us this season was the one Ferguson didn't play in, other things contributed but I really don't think Ferguson is the player he once was. No where near the player that carried Rangers to the league in 2003.
