scores a belter of a goal and now hes classed important to the title race dont get me wrong hes a good player but IMO the whole team need to play there part if we want to get 4 in a row not just 1 player.

Well I don't know that it is as simple as Crosas plays we win the league. But I think the partnership of Crosas and Brown in the middle could give us a similar platform as Hartley and Robson did during last seasons run in.

"But he has shown in certain games this season what an influential player he can be. Against Hibs and Dundee United, in particular, he was brilliant.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
"In my opinion, Marc helps to gels things together"

You missed out on quoting that all important line at the end Demps! A player who gels it all together....sounds pretty pivotal in Strachan's opinion at least.

I saw that but what important as all that opinion is that Strachan also believes that Crosas isnt a player that can win matches on his own.

With Crosas and Brown playing together and with no injuries we should steal the league with no doubt in my mind.

I truly do not mean this to come across as pedantic in any shape or form, but no player in the WORLD can win matches on his own (although Aguero came pretty close against Barca at the weekend). All they can do is the job they are designated to, to the best of their ability. From Strachan's quotes i highlighted, Crosas seems to be a vital component of Strachan's ideal starting 11 - as such, he is undoubtedly very important to a title win (although not quite the * bees knees which some posts on here seem to think!)

I've never seen him play bad. He's also never lost in a Celtic shirt. So he could be important.

What I think is more important is having the likes of Hartley there alongside him (in the squad) so if one gets injured we have another. He needs to make a real mark by putting in some regular solid performances. From what I have seen I have been impressed with and you can see why he was at Barca and was also dubbed Mini-Pep..

Again, I go back to the fact I've never seen him do anything wrong or play badly. Same goes for O'Dea, I have big hopes for O'Dea too and think he could be influential in our title chances. He's a great wee defender and as far as I can remember, never put a foot wrong.

It's safe to say we have a good few young players at the club and the future looks bright. For this year, I'm not sure Crosas will have a major impact on the title, although I hope he does.

This time last year we probably would never have expected Robson to make the impact he did.

Last night.
Pivotal moment in the league.
Strikers not scoring.
Pass to McDonald in the danger zone. GOAL!
Striker goal drought over.
Confidence restored.
McDonald goes on to win game with superb goal.

Who supplied the pass for the first goal?

CROSAS.

(I'm keeping this going all the rest of the season)

Crosas is the CM that can pass the ball and do something basic yet special, Skippys 1st last night, but the Strikers still score the goals, well should, and the wingers put the crosses in.:celt_2:

we can win the leauge without him but imo it will be a lot easier with him in there just ask the strikers and broonie who they like to play with and i bet they all say crosas because of his passing ability he RARELY gives the ball away and his first thought is always a foward pass instead of side to side.

point one the reason he rarely gives the ball away is because as soon as he gets it he passes it point two you never see him lose the ball because he sits too deep dm or not paul hartley plays that position regulary now and h gets forward still most times i cant help feeling people are judging him on that superb goal which makes me remember how ppo thought donati was such a goal player after his goal against aberdeen last season i dnt think crosas is bad player at all better signing than sno ever was but he aint bees knees he is the exact same in ability as donati you may say hows that donati made more mistakes but two things donati has played more games in a celtic shirt plus he gets forward more whenever ive seen crosas rarely get forward he loses the ball i do think crosas can become better than deco for the way he pick out a killer pass that can unlock anyteams defense in the spl ill give him cred for that but u rarely see that from him because he sits so deep
