    I used to read this weekly but never really buy it now. Got it this week so I'd have something to read whilst queueing for my T in the park ticket. Must admit that I've missed it. Mark Beamont's article on the Brit awards had me laughing a lot. Sometimes it comes across as a pretentious magazine but it's always packed full of up to date news and is always full of different opinions.

    Like it?

    Or would it be better suited to the recycling bin?

    I buy it but not very often, it has some good stuff in it but i cant stand the way they hype up bands that are alot of time *. I avoid anytime the Arctic Monkeys are mentioned cause its sickening how far up their arses anyone at NME are.

    I think its brilliant. I get it most weeks now, some of the interviews are brilliant. I know they over hype everything but they do find some gems.

    used to buy it a lot, years ago, cant be * with it now, its pretentious and i dont need some uber cool wannabe telling what bands are cool and what are not

    It depends on the writer actually, I've read a couple of articles that haven't been favourable on Arctic Monkeys.

    They used to really hype up Muse but fell out with them after Muse said that Knights of Cydonia was just a * take.

    Used to buy it every week religiously. now dont bother with it,changed it features too often,plus as angie said,i also find it too pretentious and up its own *.also it slags the * out of oasis,but then rely on putting them on the front cover to boost their sales.even the slightest oasis news and its on the cover


    buy it now and agian when i go on the train or their is an interview in it i want to read

    just stick to mojo and Q magazine these days

    EDIT: I didnt vote as I lont love it,dont dislike it and i read it from time to time
