substitutions

i think this would be a good idea,as teams have got bigger squads of players,plus the number of players out with injuries, i would like to see more substitutions being allowed, 4 during a game

 

I'm not so sure about this.

I think teams time substitutions to ruin the flow of games at times. If I had my way, I'd be making sure that there were no subs in the last 15 mins of the game.

There is never enough time added on either. The Rangers game was a joke. There are meant to be 30 seconds added on for every sub.

 

The obvious problem there is what if a player hurt themselves in that period?

I take your point about time wasting though, cheating basically.

Kinda think US sport has it right when the clock is only active when ball is in play.

 

what would happen if for instance if ur keeper had a injury and had to go aff in the last 10 mins.therfore u were nt allowed to use a sub in the last 15 mins???????????

 

its used as a tatic as well if a team is winning but under pressure the manager will make a substitution just to halt the game for a min or 2
to either re group,get a breather,waste time or improve the team

cant change that m8 surely

 

if your starting line up isnt working at halftime then you can change your team instead of waiting till 15mins into the 2nd half,knowing you,ve still got subs for injuries.makes for a better game of fitba as a whole
