some are saying go 3-5-2

we struggle to defend with 4 defenders never mind 3, they will get tore apart if they played with 3 at the back imo, then again we would probly still lose goals if we played a 5 man defence. more or less conceded goals left right and centre for the best part of 2 year!!!!

 

i actually thought of the donati bit. that would shake things up. really change it.

we could have went for craig beattie on loan.

 

So u rate Mcmanus wud have Donati back in the team and brought craig beattie back in.....

I think we will go back to 4-4-2 It seems the idea was to try and play direct and press higher up the field as the field was so * on Sunday.

But obviously neither VOH or Samaras played well at all and so I think he will drop one of those 2 and play the other alongside McDonald with Crosas coming back into the midfield alongside Brown.

 

I would attempt to go with mizuno ,hutch ,mccourt ,big jan aint on his game ,mcgeady is used sparsly ,and i would let naka float about the middle ,he was the only standout for celtic yesterday ,no manager likes to change a team about but in this case celtic have to go for it ,the guys i mentioned might freshen things up ,and at least strachan can say he tried something different .

and i would go 3-5-2

As weird as it may seem to some guys here, I second this. Mizuno might be a good stop-gap forward.

I like it mate, although cant see that happening

 

makes perfect sence to me.we dont need a back four.3 centre halfs,all decent in the air.hartley supporting them,breaking up play using his experience.flood is a hard worker and will be box to box.crosas will be pulling the strings.with hartley behind,can venture futher forward looking for that killer pass.aiden will be slighty more centeral,put could pick up the ball and attack the full back.brown is our best player,he could play futher forward,feeding off mcgeady,flood and in particular crosas.he would play just behind skippy and hutchinson,and be a nuisance to pick up.skippy is our in form striker (not hard) and hutchinson deserves his chance.

we'd have options on the bench,loovens could come on to make it a flat back four if need be.naka would be a good option if needs be.plus samaras could come on if we are chasing a goal,i think he's more off an impact sub.would like to see mc court get a chance,but i know what would only be if the game is in the bag,so here's hoping

 

btw im only talking about the next game,because when robson and maloney are back,id have them in the first 11

WGS would be better looking on here for his team selection as most guys on here
appear to have a better team selection than him

i believe a monkey could pick a side more capable of playing the celtic way with a needle and blindfold, but just were in the evo scale does that leave gordon as i actually like the wee guy, but that dont win you games.
