Strachan has to go

Do not think keane is up to management anyway he has just went back to spurs maybe in a couple of years :icon_mrgreen:

 

if he cant get the proper formation and team selection right at the weekend he has got go !!!

 

I have never really like strachan so have always wanted someone else in, but keane is not the answer he will walk away as soon as he loses 3 games on the trot. We need a manager who has good man management skills, good eye for a player and can get the team playing for each other. Losing a 7 point gap is not good enough, people say we havent got the money to buy the likes of sutton and co. but thats a load of *, if we are affected by the credit crunch imagine how the rest of the spl are feeling it yet they are dealing with even less finances than they had before!!

We need a manager thats going to be able to:

1. Get some passion out of the players
2. Who is used to dealing with sensitive players and can comfort players when it is required, not just discipline them
3. Who has a good football brain, and gets the players passing the ball.

Totally agreed. We lack penetration and our 3 main strikers are just *. Plain and simple. Some of the players need a good kick up the *, as for strachan hes a good manager, not a great manager but a good manager, i would not put the blame on his shoulders. Its the board and players fault here im afraid.

I live in belfast and i see better football from the likes of cliftonville football club than i have seen of celtic recently. Going forward im scared for celtic fc.

Get real. Strachan, McLeish and Le Guen are experts at their trade. Le Guen has a magnificent record in France, and McLeish won the same amount of trophies as Martin O'Neil.

We're in a rut, happens to the best of them. We're good enough to get out of it, and I bet the anti-WGS brigade vanish as soon as we do. Get some perspective - we aren't going to win the SPL every year forever, we aren't going to win every game, and we aren't going to play well all the time.

If the job is so easy, why are you here and not preparing a CV for Chelsea?

No other manager since JOCK STEIN has acheived what Strachan has and it's time you all came to realise it.

Keane couldn't handle the pressure of a relegation scrap with Sunderland, he shouldn't be allowed near our dugout. Ever.

alot of fans have been wanting him out for over 15 months now,myself included as we aint playing our traditional style.
he had a very good start but we have been going backwards since the team showed a tendancy of over passing and taking longer to get forward than david murray sitting on the back of a tortoius which started in W G's second season my friend.

totally agree thats why no money was spent in the winter would you trust him with your money ?nope !so i think the decision has already been made. but why wait till the end of the season get some one in now.
there are a few candidates that would come but the one i like the sound of is trapattoni but may be costly.

With just 12 games and level peggin, some say WGS has to go, you must be aff yur heed, we have every chance of winning the league, the last time we won the league in a canter the same fans were saying it was to easy, some people you can't please.
