i think we played some good stuff today also, looked comfortable the whole game until they scored. Just need a cutting edge up front. Defence is shocking though, Dareen O'Dea is wasted on the bench. Give Paddy McCourt a chance also. Been excellent for reserves.

    He is inept.

The board back him because he is a YES man, simple as that.

when strachan joined celtic,i used to find clippings of his past interviews funny.

but now im totally * off and sick of his * smart arsed answers, because it involves the football club i love.

why can he not come out after a * performance, poor result, and just be honest to the fans.
does he not realise interviews are the only way the fans of celtic get to see his opinion, where he thought things went wrong on the pitch.

why can he not just say......."we were poor today,we have been very poor recently, the fans pay good money to watch us and our performances are not acceptable".

come on gordon show us,the fans some respect please.

what makes me think it will come? because i have faith in my team.

how many times under the strach have we been behind in games and in the title race and we've dug in got the result or went on a good 10 game win streak to lift the title?

haha i know there is a problem i never said there wasnt one. in fact i tried to put my finger on it in my original post. it is that our strikers arent on form. it was all rosy earlier in the season when sammy was bangin them in. it can still all be rosy if mcdonald gets his act together and puts away the simple chances that came his way today (and jan as well). u said it yourself we could have been 3 nil up quite easily if our strikers were on form. do you not have faith that skippy can regain his form?

and strachans teams have regularly been able to turn it on when it matters. its how we won the league last season. its how we've won many of our games under him.

i think you suffer from drama queen syndrome tim. my little sister has it

Gordon Strachan has told Setanta Sports that he could have no complains about his side’s performance against Motherwell, despite only drawing 1-1.
Celtic conceded a late goal to bring things level but Strachan was happy with his players and labelled the result ‘crazy’ considering how they played.
“I’ve said well done to my players and felt they played well today,” he told Setanta Sports. “They made a lot of chances and opportunities and allowed them to have one shot on goal, and that’s not bad when you are away from home to allow only one shot on target.
“So they did well and you probably picked the man of the match as Gary Caldwell but you could put Andreas Hinkel in there, [Shunsuke] Nakamura, [Scott] Brown, the centre halves as well. So it must have been hard to pick a man of the match from our team.
“So we’ve got a lot going right at the moment, but the thing is that the team who has scored the most goals this season are top of the league, and that’s how football is meant to work and we can’t complain about that. Once we start scoring goals again we’ll make it a right good [title] race.”
He continued: “I find it hard to find a bad player in my team, it is crazy. We’ve come here before and never played anything like that and scored two or three goals.
“So it’s very strange in the dressing room at the moment. They can be pleased with their day’s work but they can’t be pleased with the points picked up.
“We only got the one point but you can only ask players to do certain things and if they do it that’s all you can ask.”
The former Southampton manager added: “I really could not see Motherwell scoring, apart maybe from a free-kick and we gave a silly free-kick away.”

mate, we won the league last season because we ground out results and the huns dropped needless points in the run in(exactly what we are doing now), along with a massive fixture list. Think youre pushin it saying we turned it on and won the league, rangers certainly helped us. Again, I dont think the question is the players ability, its their form and their passion. Sadly, I havent seen one bit of fight or desire in a celtic shirt for months.

Really think we are missin Robson big time. He dragged us to the title last year and is the only one thats got the grit and fire we need in games like today.

i suffer from real world syndrome,i dont do ifs and buts

i could say if celtic scored another 5 goals today we would have won 6-1
    but that would be stupid

you seem to be saying something similar with your ifs and buts

the truth hurts,we are all hurting and wondering how we got here, its not good and i dont fancy a personal argument with u so im saying no more

Yeh so we were not at our best,
but i don't blame the players, its the pitch
    absolutely discusting.

same could be said for wgs tactics 4-3-3

Caldwell midfield and Lovens at the back with the amount of midfielders we have and Caldwell actually playing well at the back last couple of games can any one explain this to me? sammy and JVOH should not be near the pitch at the minute they are woeful right now instead he plays a 4-3-3(is that the first time this season?) with them playing. It appears that WGS does not know what he is doing and this stage of the season which freightins me as a hoop fan!

He's a cocky wee *, even to our own supporters as i have experienced first hand. Pitch was a factor today, but wgs is just making eejits of us everytime he spouts his * about how good we were. Not good enough gordon, we didnt win you *.

I can't believe anyone is actually surprised at what WGS said about yesterday's game. He usually comes out with the same mince every time we draw or lose.

We played teriffic, we could have scored 6, the lads can be pleased with themselves blah blah blah

The scary thing is he probably actually believes that pish! :87:

I really hate feeling this negative about things but I just feel so deflated by the way things are goin just now. :54:

at the end of the bbc interview he gets all funny with chick youngs son i think...for a manager with the recent track record and 10 goals behind the ungodly to be joking around in an interview, i find it baffling!! what other manager would you hear/see carrying on like this??
