Sheridan?

Can he play against us on Sunday?

 

This sort of thing will be down to the terms of the loan deal I reckon, hopefully he wont play though.

heard motherwell fans moaning that they can train him and pay his wages but can't play him against us so don't think he can.

 

Thinking the same thing myself, they can sammy as well if they want

He's worse than all our strikers incl. our reserve strikers.....have to agree Sheridan is mince.

Looked like he had a bit of potential with a few goals early on....but later realised they were all flukes....pish player....don't think he will make it at CP. Next Ben Hutchison!

I cannot imagine we would have agreed to a loan deal where Sheridan could play against us.

 

I think the O'Brien one from last season was because we got Robson!

I think this loan spell will do Sheridan the world of good.

He has the raw materials to be a good player.He's tall and quick and will get stronger and better in the air with age.He makes very good runs.He also has a very cool head in front of goal which is probably the best attribute a striker can have.He seems to have a great attitude as well which should stand him in good stead.

You think back to goals he has scored- His goal against Hibs was a very composed finish. His first against Kilmarnock is a very under-rated goal IMO. It was absoultely superb, from the great flick on, to having the intelligence to keep running and not just stop and admire his work, to the good first touch and the excellent side-footed finish into the corner.That was a * great goal. His second was not as easy as it looked even though it was only a few yards out because there were people on the line and he had to make sure he got it over them and still make sure it went in under the crossbar. His goal against St.Mirren was a scrappy one right enough.

He's obviously not ready yet though that's obvious. His first touch is woeful at times but that can improve. I felt he held his own against Manchester United though and we've seen flashes of potential from him.A few months playing for Motherwell will help iron out some of the flaws in his game.
He seems to have been written off but I reckon he's got what it takes if he can steer clear of injury.
