the * should put more effort into football rather than running his mouth and using the GHD's on his hair in the morning

whats wrong with him saying that, its good that he believes in the team and himself, would you rather he said rangers have the better team and were gonna lose?
he said we have better individual players which hes right about and he believes that we can win the leauge, last time i heard it wasnt a crime being positive:31:

he has the way of saying it though. By praising his own team mates and not really degrading the other team.

builds confidence in your side without giving them anythin specific to aim at.

unlike jean claude "we'll beat aberdeen 8-0" darcheville

There's nothing wrong with being positive but my problem with Samaras coming out and saying all this on the eve of a crucial match is he's just written Walter Smith's team talk for him. Martin O'Neill used to love it when opposing players said they were better than us....remember Blackburn?.....as it meant the players were fired up to prove the opposition wrong. You can be sure the Rangers players are reading Samaras' comments and going 'oh aye we'll see aboot that'.

Samaras better get his * in gear on Sunday, stop worryin about his hairdo and back his big words up with big actions. We can all talk the talk but it takes a real man to walk the walk......

He better concentrate his confidence into some goal-scoring.

He's making a habit of talking the talk big Sammy.

He's still living off his pre-injury goalscoring form because he's hardly kicked a ball since coming back. Be better off shutting his trap, sticking a couple in the pokey bag then coming out and saying what we all know....the rangers are *.

players shouldnt be allowed to tak to the press in the run up to these games, the press always twist these things to make a story ( in mcmanus' case he shouldnt ever be allowed to speak to them ever)

    exactly!

the club management should make sure anybody put up for press interviews spouts the usual pish about "difficult game" and "we respect our opponents" and the most controversial thing alllowed to be said is "i am sure the boys will be up for it and we are looking for a victory and the three points"

behind the scenes the players should be getting it drummed into them to thrash these vagabond scuzbucket bigots for the good of humanity and how we need to keep the vermin down or they will spread the plague of sectarianism across the nation!

ie - get tore right into those shitehawks and win it for the best fans in the world

I don't think the rangers players will give a f*ck what sammy has to say and neither they should. At the end of the day, the big man has expressed his opinion and good on him...I hope he is right. His opinion is not going to get the rangers players any more up for the game than they would have been anyway.

Another thing i noticed, every time rangers have a big game (ie. European game, old firm game...etc) Kris Boyd is always quoted in the papers as saying "Play me Walt, and I'll get the goals to bring back glory" and all that pish. I'm sorry that this is unrelated, but I cannae stand that f*ckin deserter.
