But how well do you think celtic would play without 6 of there usuall starting 11?

3 strikers, 2 defenders, an attacking midfielder.

Well just for starters, we have had the following out injured/suspended this season:

Defenders ... Agathe & Virgo
Midfielders ... Pearson, Maloney & Lennon
Strikers ... Magic, Sutton & Beattie

 

theres quite a few players out just now beattie maloney and zurawski and sutton are just back but if we had 6 we wouldn't be as strong but we would still have a good team

When you sign up thats the avatar you are given... I'm just to lazy to change it.

I'm not talking about through out the season... I'm on about at one time.

You lose 6 first team startersall at one time.

You do have a point, but you can't say thats all of the reason, Rangers are a poor side and that is a FACT, big Eck is very lucky, don't think he is a good manager.

 

We have had Agathe, Virgo, Varga, Kennedy, Pearson, Sutton, Beattie and Zurwaski injured for long periods. Lennon and Thompson have served lengthy bans and Hartson has had personal problems. Add to this the current injuries of Nakamura and Maloney we have had serious problems Rav3n and have coped superbly well over the past few months.

 

How well do you think Chelsea would play without Lampard, Bridge, Drogba, Robben, Makelele and Joe Cole? Obviously worse Duh...

 

but they still have Crespo+Duff+Wright-Phillps+Huth nice squad they have wished we had players like that but the bhoys squad is alright but with Saturdays result well as long as we beat Aberdeen on Sunday then we could say yes freak result defo. yes

 

Aye but chelsea reserve team is probably better than the majority of the teams in the EPL

You notice other Celtic fans above actually said welcome and were willing to discuss this? Why are you so bitter? I haven't done anything to you...

After all it's not like im here trying to cause a stir because i'm bored. I come here because i enjoy sharing opinions with those who support another team... I am aware that COTH and FF exist but i dont use them because more slagging each other happens than actual football talk. So heres the best place todo it with Celtic fans as far as i'm concerned... I'm not signed up on any other teams forums other than this because the community sucks, as you can only talk about so many things with 10 people... I am signed up on my teams forum, but once again you dont get the whole side of the story just discussing with like minded people...

I wouldn't nessacerily say it was a stupid question either... Plus it's not like you were forced to read it or reply so you could have carried on with your life instead of wasting 5 minuits.

I just saw alot of Celtic fans ripping the Rangers team even though more than half of the usual 11 is out injured. I just wanted to see how they thought Celtic would actually cope... But by the looks of you can more than cope with Murphys post as evidence. I didn't expect all pretty roses and replies though because unfortunatly there has to be some tight ones like yourself. I just hope you're happy that you have made a contribution to why some people hate Rangers and Celtic. Foul mouthed unprovoked insults and attacks just because i dont support the same team as you.

I'll tell you why people dislike any successful team, It is because they are jealous.

Hmmmm, A healthy interest in the Rangers starting line up, But you hadn't noticed the Celtic Players that are out. Also this is a very Rangers defensive statement.

You didn't like what Celtic fans were saying about Rangers so You had a Dig. Admit it, this wasn't an open ended question, intended to provoke a well balanced debate. This was a directed jibe intended to provoke annoyance amongst Celtic fans.

I'm not just talking about football fans when i said people hate the old firm. Its well documented fact that theres alot(not all) of Rangers and Celtc fans who are close minded, and feel threatend socialising/discussing issues with civilised people who don't support the same team as them. In turn the media creates a a meal and the public feed on it giving the club a bad name in the general public.

I Personally i don't hate either Rangers or Celtic or their fans... I think the fact that i dont post or think * like 'hahaha you got beat yer *' 'hahaha your players are twats and lennons a biggot' 'hahaha your supporters are all scum'', supports that cause that i dont have any real deteste for Celtic. After all football isn't my life its just part of it, i like to discuss it, i like to watch it and i like to play it but i'm not going to start hating everyone or being a moron to anyone who doesn't support the same team i do.

I have no reason to be here? I've already told you why i'm here... I dare say the majority of the board have no real problem with me being here, as i'm not causing any trouble. I dare to say some of them even like to discuss football with people who don't support the same team as them. It's also well documented the crisis Rangers are having so it would require you to be living under a rock not to notice. Celtic have shown they have a more balanced squad... They can have lots of players out and knowone really notices because of the strength of the squad not just the starting 11. Why did i defend Rangers? I wouldn't honestly say i was defending them, i used them as an example... I can use Dunfermline to if you would like?

Actually it was supposed to be a balanced debate... But your insecurities ruined it so the thread may aswell be locked and trashed.

am i the only one thats struggling to come up with the 6 first picks that rangers were missing in the old firm games? i can come up with novo. unless of course we're counting prso, ricksen, klos, ferguson and the greek cos all of them were posted missing
