going to be a game of chess in the 2nd half. I hope the 1st goal is not a late one or the whole game will be cagey and the result will be a lottery. We are the better team but they are playing the wattinatio thing they did last season which took them to the UEFA final and made them near impossible to score against. Only really good perfomrances are Hinkel, Caldwell and Naka IMO.

Flood, Brown, Hartley aare doing pretty well too.

Naylor is a mixed bag of good and * passing.
Mick looks iffy in the air as usual.
JVOH still not 100% fit IMO.
Skippy looks a mixed bag too. Some good fighting but giving it away. I still think he is most likley Celt to score.

Over all there are far too many of our players not looking 100%. Question is do we go for broke for a win and bring on Aidan, Sammy and Crosas in the 2nd?

 

they will play on unchanged and the last 15mins boyd, naismith,and miller will come on and try nick a goal .you can see their battle plan by a mile!!

 

I think we're doing okay. It's been a scrappy game but we've had a lot of possession and had them pushed back for long periods. If we keep it up in the second half, we'll carve out some chances eventually and I'm sure we'll take one of them. The huns are just putting everyone behind the ball when we get it. They seem content to play for the draw and they really are a tough nut to crack when they shut up shop like that. I think we'll scrape it 1-0.

Not surprised at the way the huns are playing they cant play football they are a poor team 1 goal to settle this hopefully we get it 2nd half mon the hoops.

very like last season before they collapsed. Wattie is a realist and knows his players are not good enough to beat us in an open game. Shame is we have been dragged down to their level at times. Still, anyone who has played football will know a defensive spoiling game is knackering compared with passing football so they may tire worse than us. Plus we have a * of a better bench than them.

problem is it can work. There is nothing you can do to stop these tactics. We have done them in the CL regularly against far better teams to nick a draw. The only way to stop it is blow them away with a couple of goals early. The longer it is 0-0 the more likely they will win. If we are going to bring on our impact players I hope we do it with half an hour to go.
