Men's Health magazine is quite good in my opinion so I'd take their word for the before breakfast point.

I like this website for nutrition information. It's very informative and laid out in an easy to read way.

when your doing your chicken. . .another wee tip with no calories. . .

wrap yer fillet in cling film and batter the * out of it till its flat.

Smother it in paprika, pepper and dried oregano and a wee bit olive oil. . .fry it in a roasting hot dry pan. . .3 minutes each side should do it, if youve got it thin enough. . . Tasty as *. . .no need for sauce.

Fresh is best, i've taken to making me own lunches as of late, sub roll with chicken mixed with mayo and sweetcorn, some lettuce and fresh tomatoes on top, lovely.

For what it's worth mate remember that life is too short to make yourself miserable. I had a major heart op last year but knew about 6 months in advance. I was in the gym 4-5 times a week, eating nothing fatty, plenty of veg etc. But i always had a few glasses of wine at the weekend to chillout. Still got superfit.

My girlfriend has an aunt who is so health conscious she made her entire family a turkey stir-fry for Christmas. I'd have been raging if anybody tried to pull that with me.

Does anybody else drink green tea? I swalley down about 6 cups of it during the day. It is supposed to be packed with anti-oxidants. Supposedly good at protecting you from cancer and all sorts. Go to the toilet a lot though.

I'd say that raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and grapes are far far better for anti-oxidants. And broccoli and other green veg are best for protection from cancer.

Perhaps but tea has no calories, can be prepared in your work kitchen quickly and is cheaper.

There was some research done into why Japanese men smoked 3 times as much as Americans and yet suffered half the lung cancer rate and the scientists reckoned it was the green tea that the Japs drank that made the difference.

It was the same when they researched French people who had a fattier diet than Americans and yet had less heart disease and it was due to the consumption of red wine.

One other thing i discovered is sweet potato chips instead of normal ones. They aren't quite as nice but they are ten times more healthy and with a bit of ketchup they do the job.
