i would like to offer my appreciation to clagan for his thoroughly constructive criticism. What did paddy do? screw your wife or something?? Major talent if harnessed correctly. Man City offered 1.5 million when he was 18.fact.

The game against Queens Park gave several fringe players the chance to shine in front of WGS.

Paddy being one of them, we do need other options as the season progresses and he needs to show he can be counted on.

Considering he has McGeady, Naka , Maloney, Robson, and Mizuno ahead of him...gonna ben hard to get a game no matter how well you play in one match.

I think Paddy must have done something seriously bad to every one of clagan's family as he does give Paddy some stick on here.

I mean should he not be proud to have a fellow 6 county man playing for his beloved hoops?

Looking like Paddy may just prove clagan wrong in the near future and that might just be a wee bit hard to take for the poor fellow. :celt_2:

Paddy will prove all you knockers wrong, hes got more talent in his big toe than most of the celtic squad.yes he has an issue with injury but i would hope hes at the right club to sort that out.as for his lack of pace....total balls its just his lazy style makes him look slow.i aint seen many if any catch him once he gets going.
just because he didnt cost a few million doesnt mean he aint gona make it.
if paddy can stay fit for a few months drool will be gushing from you chops and some people will have to eat there words and others will have to lick balls.

Lets not get carried away either way here, if he had more talent in his big toe than most of the Celtic squad he wouldn't be playing for Celtic reserves, he'd be playing for Real Madrid.

Lets just wait and see what he can offer in the hoops and then we can start with the slating and the praising.

i'd like to offer my appreciation to you for your sarcasm.

so * if man city offered £1.5mill for him when he was 18? i'm more worried about the here and now. i'd like to think if i was unfortunate to have a wife she wouldn't cheat on me with a man who looks like he lives in a * tree.

i've seen the bhoy play, dont rate him and was very dissapointed when we signed him. i'd prefer a higher calibre of player:bbpd:

i'm so * bored of repeating myself on mc court threads. ive stated many times before that i hope the scruffbag proves me wrong but i sincerely do not see this happening.

i love how upset you clowns get about it. i am a very passionate celtic fan and irishman and would love a team of players from here playing for the hoops but only if they're good enough and mc court isn't. thats why he was playing for derry

you're not going to get many better offers. i never said you're from derry, i know you're from *.

all you derry fans are insane, you really think this guy is the business because he played well against st pats or bohs or cork..... he didnt make it across the water the first time and i doubt he will this time but as i've said many times i'll be more than happy if he proves me wrong.

Man city also paid over 6 million for that donkey Samaras, doesnt make him any good.
We'd all love too see Paddy do well, but i dont think he'll make it.

Some of yee have really overhyped him beyond belief.

What do these guys have in common?

Low post count, joined around the time of Paddy's signing. Their names are related to McCourt or they are from Derry.

Could the lads family be defending him? lol

Only joking haha. I seriously hope McCourt goes on to be a good player for us, not had many games with the first team

Now I have to admit I have never seen Derry play, but lets be honest all this * about Paddy not having the quality to play for Celtic having only played in a pishy league.

Have any of you being watching Celtic this season. The lack of any creativity would even be apparent to Stevie wonder. You can't tell me that Queens park have a superior squad than Derry and they seemed to hold there own against us at the weekend.

I would rather a guy with some flair and ability be given a chance than some of the work horse journey men from "a superior" league.

i know mate, i checked all their posts and they're all exclusively about mc court:rolleyes:

then they jump down my neck for daring to suggest that he's not good enough for celtic, the mentality of some people. i suppose there's * all else to do in derry or the glamorous north west.

its all right though bhoys paddy will be back at the brandywell soon enough.:bbpd:
