Think it'll get him good experience, fairly happy with that. Much happier than when I heard we offered him to Hibs on a permanent deal.

Slightly off topic, how long will Wilson be out?

Wilson is meant to be back soon, but then again Maloney was meant to be back in Jan.

Am guessing then that they will both be back pretty soon then? Good think wee Wilson is a good player for us and there's no doubt we've missed Maloney.

Good move and test for Caddis. Hope he can show the form to oust Broadfoot from the Scotland team.

Should be in our first team never mind sending him to Dundee United.

I'd sooner see him at RB than Hinkel (oooh controversial lol)

Hope he can get us some inside info on them for next time we play them because they have matched us so far this season.

Good for him. Stupid of us.
Why sign flood when we had caddis who can more than easily play that position. Now we send caddis there who will play most likely in the same position that flood did.
Just seems stupid to me and shows we army givbg our youngsters the right opportunity.

I'm sure he'll do well though, he'll come back, strachan will have a fall out with him and he'll get sold to a championship team in a swap deal for a lesser player.
Not at all like what happened with mulgrew.

Why are we even thinking of letting this guy go anywhere, after watching that mince yesterday I would have him in the first team (theres some fuds getting a game every week no matter how bad they play)
at least he will give 100% can we honestly say that about some of the first team just now:31: if they want anyone why not give them Massimo, sheridan McCourt (remember him):47:

Pretty happy with this. With Wilson due back, Doumbe still on the books till the summer etc I think its for the best. I think its rare for a player to be so good they can walk into the first team without worrying about them making loads of mistakes. Loans is the way to go IMO. We have had JFK, Cuthbert, Magowan. Quinn, O'Brien etc on loan and now possibly Caddis and OD. Its a good way of judging if they have any chance of making the grade with us because if they dont really shine on loan playing for a smaller team/at a lower level then they wont make it and we should punt them.

I thought you meant Man Utd were going to ruin the career of one of our most promising youngsters again...

Would be a great move for Paul if he were to go to Dundee Utd, Levein would bring him along well.

I would assume so, although it's not like we don't have anyone else as back up.

I don't know why some people are getting angry, surely you'd rather the guy can go and get some first team experience under his belt? And i know your replies will be 'no i'd rather he was in the first team' but that's just being naive. Yous are judging him on a few appearances here and there and i agree he looks a great talent, but it's a different story getting a run of games. That's why GS gives these bhoys a couple of games, then puts them back in the reserves, he's bleeding them in gradually which imo is the best way to do it.

And Hinkel has been outstanding this season as has Naka, so if you would replace any of them with Caddis then you really do have no clue about how a professional football club works.
