    Nonsense. :50:

Only last season did we win it narrowly. We * owned Rangers every other year, even if Rangers performed to their best, they would still have got * on from us the past few years.

well thats not fact, just opinion. Rangers were so poor under plg hearts overtook them...gives you an idea of the dip they took.

We have been poor this season....as have rangers, thankfully.

I'm signing up to this appreciation thread, and none of you can stop me.

I spent my younger days at a predominantly Rangers school (there was one other Celtic fan in my year) and we stopped 10 in a row the year i went to uni.

For all those that complain about the style of football:

    1) He plays better football in my memory barring Tommy Burns, Scottish football is just * and you'll have to live with it.

    2) Winning is everything in football, style comes second. I never got the chance to turn round to my schoolmates and say "we're the best". I can't remember how Rangers played during their 9 in a row, i just remember that they won and we lost. Enjoy being the best and stop being moaning little brats.

yeah agreed. I'm not convinced hes a celtic legend though for winning 3 in a row in the current climate but thats just my opinion.

You're probably right. Legendary status is handed out too freely IMO. Stein is a legend. The Lions are legends. Maley is a legend. McStay, Larsson and Biggins are legends.

Although if he gets to five then i think we could have another legend.

What about when Celtic were poor in the 90's. You don't hear people going on about the rangers 9 in a row saying that Celtic were *. Nope all that is remembered is the records and with that respect Strachan is writing us a pretty awesome history.

As with a few others here, "legend" is bandied about a bit too much, but I reckon this club is actually on the UP so heres to upwards from 3 in a row and last 16 Europe :50:

to wgs anti brigade, who would you want instead or rather who would we get? the wee man is doing a top job;we try to play unlike the huns who would get the game banned and most of all he has a habit of making us champs 3 out of 3 and with a big chance of 4 in a row.
And on aido he is now back playing well unlike before. so i think he handled that one right also; lets not forget m viduka getting billy big bollocks and refusing to play a 2nd half in a cup game[cant ever happen again]
heres to 4 in a row and wgs leading us. He could well dominate the shame for years to come.
KEEP THE FAITH or FIND the faith the faith before he walks as blessed martin aint coming back bhoys and ghirls

Don't want to start a new threas so will just ask in here....

Can anybody point me in the direction of what WGS said to the players after the final whistle when we won the league at Tannadice. Think it was lip read. Was a great tribute to Tommy Burns.

    Cheers.

I dont know how there can be an anti-Strachan mob. He is a great Manager and done something nobody has done since Jock Stein. I think we should show our appreciation at game against Dundee Utd. Get most of the stadium singing one Gordon Strachan the wee man would love it and know how much he means to us.

    Here you go:

‘right lads gather round till I tell you something...that lot with their pens and notepads, their exclusives, and their match reports saying we had no chance of retaining this title, we proved they know nothing about us, or fans or our club...that lot standing there singing, with their scarves up above their heads, chanting the name of a special man who everybody connected with this club loves, that's who we won this title for… for our supporters, for ourselves, but most of all for Tommy, so be proud of yourselves, hold your heads high, look up to the heavens and shout loud and proud,,, look what we did Tommy, we did the 3 in a row’”

    but...

I fear for some people 'round here. Lip-reading my *. I know for a fact that this so-called speech originates from a female poster on Kerrydalestreet :fear:

Strachan must stay would be perfect. Simply because they had 1 last year in the 1-0 Thomson OF game at Ibrox.

Couldnt agree more I think the lack of appreciation he gets for his achievments is ridiculuous.

IF he leaves at the end of the year after 4 in a row with the way some fans have treated him and still treat him and the lack of appreciation, I think well actually be a laughing stock of world football.
