    I fancy downloading COD - anyone basically I've only ever played the 1st one & I really liked it.

    How the * do you do it?

    I've looked at some sites, on about mounting images & installing cracks - I aint got a * clue.

    The other alternative is to buy from Ebay, but I like the pirate idea better (free!).

    So if you Computer whizzes, can offer advice, I'd be a happy hairytoes :celt_2:.

    First of all, I'd recommend using a 'service' such as rapidshare.com, there's many others out there but some prefer this. reason being.. it's harder to be caught. Why? Because you're never uploading and that's how people get caught.

    When you're downloading torrents, you're also uploading, whether you disable uploading or not. This means the person/people trying to catch illegal downloads starts the download and can see exactly who they are downloading from. If you're happy to use torrents, go ahead, I wont stop ya :50:

    Usually when you download games/movies/music etc.. they will download in .rar (similar to .zip file) files. You have to open these files and extract the files within them. Sometimes you may open a .rar file and find a * load more .rar files. Extract the first .rar then the second loads of .rar... sounds complicated, but when you see it, it will make sense.

    You're normally looking for a .iso file. (could be .mds and so on) either way, download and install daemon tools (search google, it's free) and install daemon. Open daemon and mount image, choose the image you extracted and it acts just like you've put the CD in your PC. Basically daemon installs a virtual cd drive.

    Once you've mounted the image, go to My Computer, find the virtual drive with the mounted image and right click then click explore. Usually (not always) there is a folder called "crack" which will contain any keygens and cracked .exe files you need to run. They also usually have readme.txt files, simply read those if you're not sure.

    Deano m8 is there anyway that u can maybe get me the download file for Football manager 2009, been looking around and cant find the rite torrrent for it so any help would be greatful m8 ;')

    OK Dudes, I've got Deamon installed & mounted the extracted files, I then installed the programme & used Deano's KeyCode which gets accepted.

    I then go to my Computer & find the virtual drive (which has no crack folder), so I just try opening the game & it opens OK, but when I go to play singleplayer - it just keeps telling me to put the CD in the drive.

    So basically, I'm a fookwit at this kind of thing...any pointers?
