    Its bizarre. Robinho's probably taking the huff cos he would have been promised world class players to soon join him.

    Unlimited money and they are going for Bellamy and De Jong. Good enough players, but unlimited money!

    IMO i dont think Mark Hughes is the right man for the job.

    If your gonna give someone a blank check book to attempt to attract the biggest names in the game first priority should be a manger thats worked with big names before and knows how to handle them.

    but thats just my view.

    got to disagree,money buys you an inflated ego,guys with so much money they CAN walk on on clubs at the drop of a hat,

    he will be back with city soon,but i bet mark hughes will be sacked before he does

    quite frankly ,hes to big an assett to city,where as mark hughes"s sacking wont get to much coverage

    Your right seanbhoy! Mark hughes is a great manager but he isnt a Mourinho who can attract any player! Hughes is used to working within a small budget and buying gd players on the cheap, like santa cruz. I think he will be gone in the summer for a big name boss. I feel sorry for Hughes tbh i think hes a gd manager

    They have just bought De jong for what 19 million even though they could have got him for about 2.5 in the summer due to it being the last year in his contract. Martin Jol must be laughing his way to the bank with that. Just shows they have no idea what they are doing, just spending money for the sake of it.

    Should do what Chelsea done, buy the next level of players and then move on to the Drogbers and Ballack etc, instead of buying team full of egos straight away and expecting it all just to be perfect from the off

    Aye, good call. Chelsea went for Mutu, Kezman etc when they got the money and progressed onto bigger players. For me, City should be going for players like Rossi, Mata, Senna.. All very good players, but not the best of the best.
