Fair play then McNaka. Going round in circles, admittedly.:50:

You have issues with reading comprehension I see. The original statement implied Naka has been a disappearing act for a long time. I've been arguing over the entire season... you're arguing a single game. You're just like the retarded GTF squad that shows up everytime Celtic drops points and then disappears for a couple more weeks.

    Which players are disappearing acts?

Anyway, since we all know you'll dodge answering that question, I'll be off now.

This isn't the USA McNaka where we take stats as the gospel when it comes to football. Some of us have played and watched football for decades and know what we are talking about. Some things are very difficult to quantify with stats.

Keeping possession of the ball has become extremely important in the modern game and Nakamura is our best player when it comes to this.

Creating goals is obviously vital also and he created nothing yesterday which isn't like him.

Additionally, if he were to put in a table that had names in it for ease of comparison, that would be ideal. Arguing over the whole season is fine; but what about last season, when McGeady was proved to be the superior player over the year? What about the documented failings away from CP?

Irrespective, this thread was started with a view to yesterday's game. As such, i don't see how anyone could argue he was a non-existent presence when we needed players to stand up and be counted. I would also like to point out that he was in no way the only player i singled-out for criticism, and that i have no "issues with reading comprehension" (laughable, and a deliberate attempt to rile me; thankfully, i am a tad more mature than that!)

Naka is pure class, his control at times is mesmerising, it aint his fault the goalie aint got a clue, agreed, it wasnt one of nakas better games, but watching through the first half i remember thinking to myself, what the * will we do when this guy leaves us, i have rarely seen a player with better control and passing ability, this defeat was not down to naka, and i thought aiden was not to bad, i think a problem was that robson wasnt as effective as usual, and we had NO LUCK, we now move on to hibs!

Agree with you there mate. Robbo is wasted at LB, and Misun should have started for me.

He did ok in the reserve game mid-week apparently, and because he got that time under his belt ( and Robson's so important for us in midfield), i was surprised at how it all panned out.

The gaffer has obviously decided he's not ready though, which is fair enough, but we have been crying out for a natural left back for some time, and i had hoped Misun would be involved straight away if required.....it would appear he is very much "one for the future" mate.

    Referee was disgraceful.

You could tell he was about to send baldypatch off and then * himself. I watched Ashley Young get sent off for the exact same tackle only 24 hours earlier. Inconsistency with referee's is ruining the game.

For Duff's goal, Miller jumped when in an offside position, he's clearly interfering with play, it meant Brown couldn't rush out to close down Duff incase Miller got a touch on it.

For Diamond's 2nd, Miller got the slightest of touches on it, which meant Diamond was offside.

For the 3rd Aberdeen goal, He blew before the ball hit the net. Then claims he was going to give a penalty, that doesn't matter Douglas. You stopped play before the goal even happened, therefore you should have given the penalty. When a player gets tackled 60 yards from goal and the referee plays advantage, he doesn't blow his whistle, stop play, and then play advantage, he holds his hands out and allow play to continue.

Overall a shocking performance from Celtic and the referee.

Both Celtic and the ref were poor yesterday....thats why aberdeen won

We know where Celtic went wrong, been lots said about it on here....as for the ref....he blew BEFORE the ball went over the line...so anything that happens after that cannot count....he cant change his mind after blowing!!....if he thought it was a penalty then thats what aberdeen should have got...no more no less....and there was 2 guys sent off at ipox for tackles that werent as bad as the one at aberdeen...it was a straight red, no question....ther guys studs were up, both feet off the ground and he was straight legged....Hinkel was lucky he never got a broken leg

Aye, we were pish....but so was the ref
