at celtic park nothing better than a confident player still has to come into his best form though but he sets up so many goals

    Style-conscious Nakamura excited

Shunsuke Nakamura attributes Celtic's strong recent form to clarity of style and good understanding between players.
The Japanese playmaker is enjoying his time with the league leaders and looks forward to Rangers' visit on Saturday.

"The team is going into games confident of getting good results. We are in a really good place right now," Nakamura told the Celtic FC website.

"We are gaining a clearer understanding of each other's style and you don't see players getting isolated on the park."

The ex-Serie A star is delighted to be top of the league ahead of Saturday's Old Firm clash at Celtic Park but insists the players are not dwelling on their table position.

"We are top of the league but that does not concern the players at the moment. The only important thing is whether we are at the top at the end of the season.

"We need to avoid letting our current standing affect us and just focus on playing our style of football."

Been very impressed with Naka so far. It's a great thought that he can only get better.

Nakamura an ex Serie A star?? Let's have no illusion here. He was never a star in Serie A. On the contrary, he struggled to secure a regular place at a club that annually fights for relegation battles. He was often booed by the Reggina fans when he came on to the pitch. Aggresive marketing and more image than substance, that is the stigma usually attached to this guy.

Maybe if Hartsons family were around him he might play a bit better. Or is that wishful thinking?

What a pile of bullshit mate. The Reggina fans had a 30 foot banner with his name on it as i recall!
Good to see he is settling ok and he can only get better. We will see how good he is in the World Cup next year and he may even be a star as he was against Brasil recently.
