Worst manager

Tony Mowbray has to win his game in hand not to be named the worst celtic manager after 20 games, right after John Barnes.
So let's watch and wait to see if the big guy is the worst celtic manager after 20 games.

i like mowbary but starting to do my * in but i would give him this season to build his team and see what happens next year before i sacked him

 

I hate ppl that say "it doesnt tell you the whole story"...it does my head in.

Humiliated in europes diddy cup, put out of the cup at home to hearts, 1 point out of 6 in old firms, 19 points dropped so far this season, 9 points behind a team who havent invested in players for 2 years and wastin nearly 10 mil on players who are worse than what we have....and did i mention, 4 points dropped against the team bottom of the league??? Oh and have you seen the attendances....they dont lie!

So what else does our shambles of a gaffer have to do before people realise hes a fecking joke????

Tony Mowbray ---- Won nothings as a player---- Won nothing as a captain ---- And will win nothing as a manager!!!

 

This thread would have made more sense had we been ko'd by Morton... I bet a few on here would have loved to have seen that happen

 

Give Mowbray a chance, after all we suffered Barnes, Brady and Macari, let Tony get his own team on the park before we judge him.

 

It's alright giving him a chance but where do we draw the line? when he's sold all our best players and we are * in the league AGAIN!!

Barnes had a better squad at his disposal and didnt have to clear out SPL fodder like we had in our squad. This comparison is so stupid. Any Celtic fan with half a memory and an oz of common sence will know this.

 

dont look at the side that Barnes had, look at the opposition, Barnes was in competition against one of the greatest Huns teams of all time, and the other spl sides were alot stronger than they are now. Compared to TMs competition against one of the worst huns teams in history and the weakest spl in living memory. Plus TM has the best squad in the league where as Barnes had the 2nd best squad.

 

I went to mowbrays wedding in st charles`s church paisley to his late wife bernadette, hes a nice guy and i like him......but hes a * celtic manager!

Well said Ladbroke8, the players Mowbray has at is disposal are of much lower quality, you can't compare stats with lower quality players - it's just stupid.

 

Its not after 20 games that it matters its after 38 judge him at the end of the season .

 

Is it only 20 games........* it feels alot longer.

 

i would'nt say TM was the worst manager we have had, but goodness me he could be on his way there.
ppl say give him time! ppl say he has dud players from the WGS era but man alive he should be getting more out of the guys that we have and this is my biggest problem
lets face it, we will drop more points before it gets better, this will go one or two ways, he will turn it around or he will finish between 15 to 20 points behind
the hunery and this scares me TBH

 

i don't like the way results are going for us but i don't think mowbray is bad we just need to buy a goal scorer , ok mowbray bought fortune i don't think he can play football to be honest but all managers buy poor players at some point we can still win the league keep faith

 

until larsson got injured barnes was not doing too badly

Mowbray has just had erratic results since the beginning of the season

 

stats may not tell the whole story, but the league table at the end of the season is nothing but statistics in itself and that's really all that matters.

 

i think u need to give him atleast a season.
he isnt happy with it. so instead of branding him as a terrible manager wait until he has his team plying.
and if he does go who do u get in?
i will tell u some Pish Manager that hasnt done anything either and you will just be moaning about the same crap
