for loovens ,samaras and murphy to be up there with the highest paid players is a joke when you think of how little they contribute .

 

Good point Hope he hasn't been so short sighted to give Ljungberg the full 15-20k+ without some of it being based on bonus's though.

I know its great money either way but can't help but feel bad for Izzy and Kayal.....Out performing all the other players every other week yet on allot less than half the wages of the "big" players. Really hope they get what they deserve and sign a long contract with us :icon_mrgreen:

Where did these figures come from? The reason I ask is the date at the top left of the first screen print is 29th June 2010, so Kayal, Izaguirre, Ljungberg, Commons & Hooper weren't even with us then!!!

 

It's from Football Manager and the game starts on the 29th of June So all the players have already been signed but you start from then.

Football Manager, Sports Interactive and Sega do a lot of research so I would bet most of the figures are spot on. Some do look a tad dubious like Ki and Loovens.

 

Find someone who works as an auditor for PKF, they're Celtic's accountants. They will have access to all the payroll information. They're legally bound to not reveal any of the information but I'm sure they could guide us in the right direction!

 

For those of us who don't live in the virtual world, I prefer to base my opinions on factual evidence not what some geek gleans from the tabloids to add to a computer programme.

I'm sure most of us don't have an issue what our players get paid, but I'll tell you when the proverbial hits the fan, they'll be all the overpaid, useless b******* under the sun. How can anyone could believe that Ki only gets paid £1,600 per week.

Personally, I think what our players earn is their own private business, as long as the board manage the club's finances well, that's all we should be concerned with.

 

Well you aren't going to get factual evidence so this is as good as it gets.

As I said they do a lot of research and most of the wages look spot on from what we read in the papers and on the net.

 

Think the players are satisfied with their wages at CP. They look a happy bunch & are playing well as a team & long may it continue.

mate he is still on 10-20 grand less than he would earn with a mid table Epl team in fact our players are under payed in comparison to what they would most likely be earning in the English championship
