Shaw lands Celtic for testimonial

Coventry City will play Celtic at the Ricoh Arena for Richard Shaw's testimonial game on Tuesday 11 April.
Former Coventry boss Gordon Strachan will bring ex-Sky Blues players Paul Telfer, John Hartson and Dion Dublin.
"Nobody can ever over-estimate the service Richard Shaw has given to Coventry City," said boss Micky Adams. "I've had some fantastic times during 10 years at Coventry City and I've met and played with so many wonderful people," Shaw told the club's website.


I might go down for it should be a good atmosphere

I heard a rumour that we were playing Newcastle for Shearers testimonial aswell but I've not heard anymore of it

 

they all want celtic because they are definetly going to get a big crowd and no trouble thats the bottom line

Tickets go on sale on monday so plenty of time to buy.

Coventry is swarming with celtic fans so I would expect a sell out I'll be wearing my hoops over my Sky blues shirt.

Apparently some tickets are going to celtic park. the capacity is 32,000. I'd imagine most celtic fans will sit anywhere in the ground.
