[Cross Platform] Outlast

Played it for 5 minutes and said * that :smiley-laughing002: fallout is to scary for me if I'm playing in the dark horrors ain't my deal

 

Played it through twice, really good game. It's more of a creepy game than a scary game, the ending is really good as well.

 

I got it on PS4 as a Plus game and I didn't last very long before I quit and deleted the game. I usually avoid horror games anyway, mostly because I get freaked out too easily, so I was never going to last long with this. I really liked Until Daw, to use that as a comparison, but games like Outlast are far too creepy for me.

I'm fairly sure the sequel is due out some time this year, although I don't think they've shown anything outwith a teaser trailer. Here it is for anyone who hasn't seen it:

LOL, I've still got this one, did start a little part of it, but got sidetracked, does look rather creepy too.

Like said above, I'll probably take about a year to complete it, as I'll crap myself and stay under beds or whatever to hide, lol.

 

I just bought this off the store as it was only €18 and been meaning to try out a couple of horror games.

Did anyone ever finish it, how long does it take?

 

Right well this is far * scarier than I expected it to be.

 

Haha I’ve got the two of them second is scarier than the first
I played them in the dark with good headset on, could hear everything from someone/thing walking through the grass to rain drops
Had me looking over my shoulders

 

I did the same with the first, never made it right through. Need to get back to it. Have quite a few recordings on my PS4 with me screaming and * masel hehe

 

I played it late last night with a headset on whilst stoned.

I lasted about 10 minutes and doubt I’ll play it again.

 

Played another 15 or so minutes there. That’s about all I can take in one go tbh.

It’s ridiculous, I’ve always enjoyed horror films and never been phased by any.. this on the other hand.... I play for about 15 minutes and pause it at least 50 times in total.

 

I find playing horror games much scarier than watching films.

Until Dawn was a cracking game but every time I played it I was in a constant state of fear. Played 1 chapter per night and although I was enjoying playing it, I couldn’t wait for the chapter to end so I could turn my PS4 off.

 

Played the first one and really enjoyed it. It was creepy, but as someone before said, I wouldn't say it's too SCARY as such.

However, the second...Jesus. Already had a nightmare the night I first played it after i downloaded it. Left a mark on me and I won't be returning to it

 

This is like £3.50 just now.

Going to watch a few YT videos of gameplay and will probably buy it tomorrow.
