Has 3 goals and 4 assists in 4 championship games and they would take £5 million because of his contract expiring. Should be a no-brainer for an Armstrong replacement.

 

Can't see us shelling out:

Edouard £9mill
Moukoudi £5mill
Powell £5mill

3 players = £19million

If we get anything above 7 million for boyata i don't think it would be too surprising to see us spend 3 million+ on another player. Would rather that be another RB mind you, but i think powell would be a good armstrong replacement.

 

Definitely would be a great replacement don't get me wrong. Just hard to see happening.

 

But we haven't shelled out £9m on eddy that was last season's accounts that's in.

We have spent nil this financial year and season so far.

 

Would be a good addition and add more competition for in midfield, 2cb’s and a rb should be top priority but.

 

With the clubs also supposedly interested, this is a non-starter.

Anyway, as already mentioned, we need to prioritise improving the defence first and foremost. We'll need to wait until January to freshen things up attacking players wise. Definitely a case for bringing in another striker as well.

 

Doesn't really matter which financial year accounts it falls in mate, it's still £9m of cash out.

 

We’ve been linked with him under Rodgers before. Could see there being something in this.

 

Quality player, would be a brilliant Armstrong replacement

 

Powell, Benkovic loan and Moukoudi would be a fantastic window. Shame it’s so late.

 

Wouldn’t really be £19m though.

£1m for Sviatchenko
£7m for Armstrong
£7m for Boyata.

That’s only a net spend of £4m. Throw in a loan for Benkovic and I’d be very happy with the window.

 

Thinking the same. That would be a real boost to everyone including the support.

Don't know what the plan is at right back though. Would happily play a back 3 all season those 2 and Ajer if we didn't get one.

 

It does glen when it comes to budgets and Celtic. It was all covered by Erik and Stu leaving the net spend is less than £1m

Tidy player but doubt we are in for him. we could afford to lose Armstrong which is why he left.

Once (touch wood) Eddie and Demeble are both fit we already have a headache of dropping McGregor or Rogic so why add another to this dilemma? Get the defence sorted first

 

Would be a quality replacement for Armstrong. Been scouting him for a while it would seem. Always thought he was a tidy player.

 

Plus VVD money
