  1. i got my phone less than four months ago, ive nver dropped it, barely got a scratch on it other than the obvious wear and tear.

A small but really * annoying thin black line appeared through the middle of the screen horizontally. You can still see the whole screen and theres nothing wrong with it.

My question is..... will some one want to buy a phone like that?

    its a samsung g600 btw

  2. Not me ,why are you selling it?

  3. Worn and torn with an annoying black line in the middle of the screen.

    You'll be lucky.

  4. i dont like the phone to be honest, its still in warranty tho

  5. Does your warranty not have replacement cover? If so, send it back and tell them you want a different model.

  6. aww can you do that? i used to have the u600 in pink and i loved it.... i want that one back

  7. same thing happened to my c902 wee annoyin black line

    yeah!! what did you do?

  8. i used to work in a phone shop, sounds like drop damage, but if your adamant you havent dropped it, then im stumped, take the battery out and look at it, there will be a water indicator on it, im sure with the samsungs its a white square that turns red when its water damaged, either that or a white square with purple crosses, if the crosses are faded then its water damaged

  9. My SE k750i battery has a plastic thing on the end, it's pink with purple spots, I seem to remember it being white before. What does that mean?

The mic has been * for months but the speaker's fine.

  10. the battery is water damaged, there should be an indicator inside the phone as well, there sometimes hard to find if you dont know what your looking for, the liklihood is that is why your mic is * as well, this cant be fixed, sorry pal

  11. Ah I see, no worries it's ancient and should have been in the bin at least a year ago.

  12. note to all, if you drop your phone in water or spill a drink on it....never ever turn it on!!! take the battery straight out and let it dry for at least 3 hours, it will be fine after that, i put mine in the washing machine, still works..magic:50:

  13. Good tip.

  14. also dont put your phone in the washing machine, your phone will be fine but you will flood your kitchen trying to get the * thing out!!:50:

  15. Really? Explain that please. :50:

  16. My daughter dropped my samsung toco into a mug of coffee, i took the battery out right away and opened the phone and dried it including the touch screen after 24 hours i turned it back on and it was working great still and there was no water damage to the screen (like the dulled light or stained screen ect) the reason i took the desission to open it was because it was coffee and not water, and i didnt want the insides to get dun in by mould nor did i want the buttons sticking or the touch screen becoming sticky inside.

Gave the phone to my wee sis and she loves it lol i got another for myself

  17. I just deal with it. im sure if u take it back you will get it replaced for a fee if u have insurance.

  18. i dropped it in sand once, but it want damaged. Besides that was when i first got it but that was when i first got it and this has happened now. Its never been dropped onto a floor or water damaged

  19. maybe its just past its sell by date so to speak... i had something similar happen to an lcd tv, woke one morning with a thin black line down the screen theres a few good shops in glasgow where you could try and have the screen fixed or even trade it and get cash towards another.
