I think that celtic should give mowbray until christmas as how many times have we seen on this forum people say its all going to click or i heard the click today and i still think it will ,i admit that mowbray is confusing sometimes but then so is alex ferguson and look how good he is (NOT COMPARING THE 2)and i think with another transfer window form could improve alot depending on who we sign and if alls not well around november/december then sack him but not yet

Until Christmas? why would we do that? we either get rid of him at the end of the season (i * pray that we do), or he gets another season :(

Christmas is a bad time to make wholesale changes. The league could already be over by then if we continue our current trend.

*edit* I dislike how I'm referring to the 2010-11 season already :(

We started the season conceding goals fom almost every attack the opposition had. We couldn't buy a clean sheet.. Then we change the personnel and things were just as patchy (injuries aside) and of course the Aberdeen result was a step back , but since then we've had 3 clean sheets from 4 SPL games , the opposition has had chances but not taken them so maybe we're getting a rub of the green on the playing side.. Would still like to see him have a run of games with an uninjured squad to choose from (especially defence) and maybe a central midfield playmaker who can also win the ball , added to the first team with one or two going out..

Funny you mention SAF look how bad he did at the start of his Man Utd managing career and i know the EPL is alot harder than the SPL but Mowbray needs time and ill always support him, yes this season has been * but giving time i can see a really a good team. Our team has alot of quality but this is the 1st time majorirty of these players have met/played together.

im unsure on this one. On one hand, we cant have another season as bad as this, and maybe mowbray needs time to really make his mark on the team and another transfer window will help. On the other hand, we really cant have another season like this!!

Unless Mowbray is sacked at the end of this season, that's exactly what we'll get!

That's what I think too. If Tony Mowbray hasn't got things sorted out by Christmas he'll have to go. Maybe even a bit sooner than Christmas if we were to have a really bad start to next season.

For the meantime he still has my support though.

YAWN another Mowbray thread. Give the guy a break ffs, 9 months into his Celtic career & we should show him the door. Absolute & utter bollocks!

Save the millions of pounds we'd waste on appointing a new manager & staff and spend it on the squad.

    Let Mowbray do his job!

yeah av backed him all the way and IMO he hasnt bought a bad player yet with the exception of fox who i kinda liked but i know others didnt so i'm confident with another transfer window and his ideas he will make this happen

i hope to * he does as i dont like to see anyone fail in football especially at celtic and with the club mogga loves. i also believe injurys and refereeing desicions has not helped the big man

Mowbray's pair of Hooiveld and Rogne- may just make us harder b*st*rds at the back! I want to see them playing together.
Boruc on form, Ras and Keane up front that is the spine of a serious team developing.
Am I the only one who actually thinks Keane still has NOT fully decided that he will leave us in May????????????
It would be feckin great if he turned round in May and said he was staying!!

The problem you have there is that Mowbray clearly rates Fortune'e more than Rasmussen. Unless Fortune'e stays injured then we won't get so see how a Keane - Rasmussen partnership would develop.

    Here's a hypothetical...

I know Tony Mowbray isn't very popular amongst the fans, and a good percentage seem to really want him out.

We could still win the Cup, beat Rangers in the last OF and maybe even close the gap in the league.

What I'm wondering is, if Celtic win every game between now and the end of the season - would it be enough to change your mind? Or is the final nail already in the coffin?
