    Alright lhads n lhassies.

Am thinking about moving outside Glasgow coz am sick of it. Been lOOking around from Port Glasgow to Alexandria and Blanyte and Lesmahagow etc. Am basically lOOking for some adive in the surrounding parts of Glasgow.

I don't want to move into a dodgey area, I want to be near a nice countryside or big parks for the dogs. I want it to be quiet and easy to commute to Glasgow by car.

Seen a few nice villas with gardens for rent about £350-450pm, that's idealy what I am after. So basically just some advise on where to go and where not to go.

    Cheers guys

Im originally from Port Glasgow mate and you don't really want to be moving down there, Langbank (a wee village just outside the Port is nice though), Bishopton is a nice place too as is Gourock and they're all easy enough to get to Glasgow from

Down our way Dumbarton / Alexandria area is good mate, just depends on what side it is u were thinking as both areas have there dodgy parts just like anywhere, it will be good for the dog you have levengrove park, christie park and loch lomond shores in easy reach by walking or by car

I moved from Glasgow to Blantyre about 10 years ago and it's the best move I ever made, nice and quiet, lots of trees and a big park for the dog.

15 mins on the train to Glasgow town centre, and lots of Bhoys out here too, cant go wrong with Bla'antir :50:

nice one guys thanks. Had a wee peek at Blantyre and there's a gOOd number of reasonably priced houses there. Would love to be near Loch Lomond but a lot of the houses are a bit dearer there.

Really can't wait to move out the city.
