IMO Fox had a poor game but not going to get on the lads back as he will definitely become a better player after the experience he's had tonight.

 

Just see it differently mate. Must be the Sammy part of my post. I thought he played well did alot of things off the ball to try and move defenders away even tracked back on a few occasions, won a few flick ons, which was surprising. Hard job up top on your own couldnt see skippy doing much more up top on his own imo

 

i dont think fabregas was anything great, thought denilson and song were much better. overall vermalen was excellent.

The majority were 10 out of 10 for effort but my vote goes to Hinkel.

 

he didnt pull the defenders around!! there defenders were comfortable in everything they did!!

and its not only that bit of ur post...brown???

 

McGeady..Brown..or N'Guemo all 3 played really well i thought Hinkel also had a good game.

 

vermaelen was the MOTM for me no doubt.
Celtics best players were McGeady and I thought N'Guemo did quite well! intercepted and broke up their play alot

 

You obviously missed the part that sayed off the ball, which creates space for a runner coming from midfield but the ball was lost by then. Brown was in amongst it and tried to drive forward and imo played well, considering hes just back from injury aswell.

loovens or hinkel imo, infact id say loovens i thought the big man was solid

McGeady, i have slated him recently as being an empty shirt but he looked like the only celtic player of producing any magic tonight

 

Mcgeady for me, think he must have gad a few managers looking on tonight, arsenal will have him marked out of the second leg, only him and loovens really stood out for me!!!!!

 

Aiden McGeady for celtic. Thomas Vermaelan, watched him a few times with Ajax and the two games for Arsenal (too good for Arsenal)
I also think that Boruc did not put a foot wrong, bad deflections, unlucky but he still got on with it and didnt let anyone down.
