Misun

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by doctor venglos, Aug 27, 2010.

  1. Yes but wasnt he recommended by johan?

  2. Couldn't agree more gunt. I was never in favour of letting Caldwell go, we were crazy to let him go, as you said.

  3. :50: give big jos a couple more games

  4. I haven't a scooby who recommended Hooiveld. You may be right.

was misun a mow***y signing or a strachan signing ??

  5. Strachan. And as far as my memory serves we beat ac milan to him

  6. Apart from the fact Caldwell has been an absolute and utter bombscare at Wigan, it's unbelievable that they gave him the captaincy. More like fan's forget how * previous players were and want them back when new players are just as *!

  7. why cant we sign a CB with a good quality?

Pace etc, Majstorovic, provides us with experiance, height and heading and now get a partner with pace etc

  8. you know what * is, right? and how it should and shouldn't be used in a sentence? :56:

  9. why wasnt misun on in left back instead of ledly????

  10. Yes, it's a word originating in the 16th century, from a combination of "spark" and "funk", and meaning courage, spirit or pluck.

Why, what did you think it meant? :50:

  11. It was so Brown could get a game.

  12. What, like Josh Thompson you mean?

I'd have thought that that amply demonstrated the dangers of introducing young players too early. You can ruin a guy's confidence that way, and Misun should only be brought in when he is ready.

On no account should he be brought in simply because we think he may do a slightly better job than what we have at the moment. That's short-term thinking on a criminal scale, and unfair to the player.

  13. Agreed ,this position is highly under scrutiny at present with the players that have played there and the present ones are getting it in the neck after last night ,those 2 that played last night should cut it in the SPL but they need games together ,to drop another player just now would be a silly move .

Playing a youngster in that hotseat like The Hand said could set him back badly and players rely on confidence ,if he made a mistake and 50,000 Celtic fans got on his case he would lose any confidence that he has gained and learned to date.

  14. I would rather play misun than hoovield and a thought with the central defensive performances during pre season he was the most deserving of the cb and like most people on here have noticed hoovield thinks he is the best thing since slice bread and cant keep his big gob shut

  15. This is the thing. I'm not actually convinced Jos will step up in Europe, but unfortunately that's something we don't have to worry about for another twelve months. Jos & Danny can do it in the SPL once they form a partnership. In the meantime we can start introducing Milan as & when the manager thinks fit, & not put unnecessary pressure on him now.

  16. josh thompson is better than musin.ppl keep sayin cos he had a good pre season hes great bot thats a load a pish if u put him in in the now u will destroy his confidence cos he will get blamed for everythin as josh thompson did. u need 2 bring thorough youngsters when things r going well rather when they will be made scapegoats when we get beat aff hamilton away,am not sayin musins not talented its just that now defo anit his time

  17. first off, milan misun is a left back..so why play him at cb?...as for young josh thomson, didnt think he done too badly ....but yeah, this is not the time to be playing youngsters.....quality cb is what we need to compliment the big swede!

hoovield and loovens aint got it.

  18. Neh, Id rather we signed a new CB, before we put someone like that in, who could cause us real problems. even with the Well.

  19. Misun was played at CB just as much (if not more than at LB).

I thought this was just to improve the defensive side of his game but turns out that the club see him as a CB.

Also, hes on a 4 year contract, signed 2 years ago. Not his last season.

If he was to play in the team just now, based on the Utrecht game, he'll be the next Thomson or Hooiveld. A good player who was made a scapegoat for the team being *...well only if the fans don't turn on big Daniel instead after another bad game:rolleyes:
