some 1 asked a few weeks ago wots the diffrence between celtic and rangers fans,
well i live in bridgeton ,GLASGOW. i am on a main road, and there are road works here just now with traffic cones on the road,so after the match when celtic fans r going home in there cars ,the cars pass my window, and out side there were a gang of rangers supporters, i know they were rangers supporters because of the things they were shouting and singing, anyway ,they picked up the traffic cones that were lining the street and threw them at any car passing ,with no thought to who may be in the cars,
and there were not a police car in sight, suprising as it is BRIDGETON

I'm not surprised. Used to work in Bridgeton and it's a hun *-hole. U cant even buy a celtic view in the shops without getting growled at and remember that lad Mark that got murderd? well at the time someone put flowers at the site and some hun * ran up and shoved them in the bin. We took them back out again and wrote about it in the paper - and we got death treats from the UVF!

not much can be said but :asshole2: :*: :ranting2: , Its terrible the way people are, a lot of the times it can be the family ways and the surroundings that they are brought up in, sad realy..

mindless violence happens in all walks of life, the above stories are disgusting but i could sit here and type stories all night about mindless violence that doesn't involve rangers supporters or people who are brought up in working class areas, the police been one of the main offenders and they get away with all the time.

You could sit and talk about things that have occured which involve Rangers fans, but at the same time you could also sit and talk about where a Rangers fan has been the victim. Unfortunately things like this happen all the time.
Although, that story is quite shocking Sooz, did you go to the police about the threats?

No, we ended up getting a guy who ran a local hun pub to call off the dogs as he was a mate of one of the advertising guys in the paper and was also a mate of the UVF guys - it was a bit scary but i could give u loads of stories like that about Bridgeton, it just seems to be extra bitter

the difference is apparent in the number of arrests relating to sectarian offences after last nights game and the first old firm game at ibrox. at the game at ibrox there were three arrests (obviously, the huns won) at celtic park last night there were 26 arrests relating to sectarian offences. therefore isn't it quite clear what the difference is between celtic and rangers fans. we can handle getting beat!!!:celt_2::shamrock::34:

The ppl doing this are just looking for an excuse for violence or a fight if it wasnt football or Secterian it would be somthing else unfortunatley

the media and politicians go on about running secterianism out of the scottish game but to be honest probably about 90% of the ppl are just looking for trouble and would do what they do anyway because its a way of life for them its the culture we are all brought up in here in glasgow. if they want to get rid of the secterianism then mayb they can but they will not get rid of the violence cause the secterianism is just the excuse used!!

Sorry for spelling its late :p
