Luncheon choices?

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by Daver, Jan 14, 2009.

  1. What was / is on the cards for lunch today then folks? I'm away to commence munching on my Thai food from the van just down the road from my work - * superb, i must admit. Washed down with a can of bru for good measure! Delight!:icon_mrgreen:

  2. Just had a bacon sandwich, very nice but I was planning to start my healthy regime today:87: I've an excuse though, bacon and bread is actually about the only food in the house right now!

  3. Ah, but did you trim the fat off the rashers themselves?!?!

Why the diet anyway? Did one over-indulge over the festive season?

  4. you *, im having stir fry vegetables, no meat, no sauce, just vegetables, and some cabbage soup when its ready, yum!!

  5. Nice big Cheese Pizza :icon_mrgreen: Fat * I know :52:

But this will have to last me till tomorrow, off to work at 5 and wont get home from Glasgow Prestwick Airport till about 1am so...

Pie n beans with wee sausages, magic.

  6. i miss beans with wee sausages, i havent had then since i was a wean

  7. i have the same thing every day, turkey, ham stuffing, lettuce, onion and coleslaw sandwich from doorsteps

  8. As discussed with Angie in the diet thread, I had "light" tomato soup and a brown roll and ham, no butter, for lunch. So begins the regime!

  9. Just in from getting lunch at O'Briens at Glasgow Fort.

Chicken mayonnaise sandwich, and a big mug of tea.

The added extra of sitting facing a girl who came in who bent over revealing a thong that would cut through marble.

I was trying to get the wife to look the other way while I got a swatch.

  10. soup as usual!! keeps the weight off!!

  11. mars bar, pint of pepsi. i could not be bothered making anything

  12. i could kill for a bit of toast, really want some carbs, but at least i get to have a big baked potato tonight!! :icon_mrgreen:

  13. I've got to say I've eaten in O'Briens 4 times in my life and EVERY * TIME it's been *. That's in 4 different branches too. Must be part of the company profile; hire monkeys to throw food around, until some of it lands on the plate, then charge a fortune for it and serve with a scowl. Hopefully they'll go * bust. Useless.

  14. Cheese savourty sanwiches from Greggs, Can of Irn Bru, Salt and Vinegar Squares, Galaxy Caramel

  15. Andy has promised to bring me to Greggs and treat me to a sausage roll:icon_mrgreen:
We don't have them over here:54:

  16. just had my lunch there

    toasted ham sandwich

    simply amazing

  17. tried it. just couldn't stomach it

  18. The legendary fuel zone vital mix lol. Two sandwiches, soup, a packet of crisps and a bottle of water for £1.15...

Although didn't get to eat it all today, there was a fight at the start of lunch which ended with two local young teams coming up to the school and fights were breaking out left, right and centre.. ended up dropping my soup when some random guy chased another boy into the school and leathered him on my table, was not too pleased
