Look to me if he misjudged it. But when your that close to your own goal sometimes your a better to leave a powerful shot to the keeper incase it's takes a wild deflection.

 

I just don't know how people can say he misjudged it. He gets to heading level then lays his head flat. You don't put your head flat down if you're trying to head a ball.

I know he doesn't seem like the type at all that would dodge it, but I think we're all shoving on the green tinted specs here and defending our player from an embarrassing mistake he made.

 

Really poor the way he ducked out of the shot but other than that he was great.

You know maybe he did misjudge the power in the shot as you see defenders duck for "easy" shots a lot to allow the keepers an easy catch but as i say he played well apart from that

Kayal shat it to be honest, and when you're getting paid that much money per week, you better take a * shot in the face. Besides that, I still love him.

 

tbh it could be a reaction . although that doesn't excuse it ! but what does excuse is it the performances after ! he was fantastic and this wasnt against dundee united or st mirren , this was against top quality european opposition

 

Huge performance from him the other night. Anyone doubting his ability cant be watching the same player that I am!

 

can only imagine the reaction if Loovens , Sammy , Ki , Maj , did that to give away a goal , and anyone trying to say he got a shout or the keeper should of done better or he slip has a very bad case of man love for kayal that wont even allow them to even critize that shocking effort , great player when he wants to be and i really rate him but that to me took him down a peg in my book and anyone who realise what they did should play out there skins for rest of game so wont praise him for that

lol exactly mate they should be throwing themselves infront of everyting he had a very good perfrmance the other night including when he was with sammy ki and forrest who dont track back anywhere near enough wrong choice takin big vic off imo

 

He should've came on TV and explain why he ducked and then we could all put it to bed and get on with winning this league

 

bottom line for me is that if all 11 players taking the field for every celtic match played with Kayal's intensity then we'd be 10 points clear at this stage. Mistake was made, lets get over it.

All he had to do was put his face/head to the ball and clear it.I know kayals not on epl wages but with the wages he does get im sure he could afford a couple of new teeth.

 

I agree mate.Anyone of those players had done that or even say paddy tried a run and lost it and caused a goal their would be multiple threads on here giving them abuse.people keep saying its over move on and forget about,well i was raging after it because end of the day kayal * himself and cost us a point.

 

He isnt getting as much stick as Maj would because he has won us points by himself since he got here. That doesnt make him immune from abuse though, against Killie iirc people where mad to show him the door.

He is allowed this mistake with less abuse than say Maj/Loovens as he doesnt make mistakes and the other two constantly do.

I agree with Lennon but he and the players should know that that's what the media will do here. Should stay away from making any comments that can be misconstrued.

 

Apparently Liverpool want him to replace Lucas.

 

Not surprising.

I'm not sure there's a better option as a replacement at a decent price in the UK.
