JOHN O'SHEA

Heard about this today, not a bad signing IMO

 

Would take him allright, better than any of our defenders IMO.

 

hes a superb defender. I would love him to play in the green and white hoops

 

It'll be very good signing, but how much will we pay for him?

 

we'll have another big john hope we get him love seeing us irish lads playing in the hoops

 

will be a class signing, is it on loan or perm??

dont know mate think its on loan wouldnt mind it being a perm thing though class sig by the way

 

i heard its on loan. Doubt he would join us though as he would want to impress Sir Alex if he went on loan and only if it was in Europe which we arent in. So i very much doubt that he would come to us as he is occasionaly in the Manu Utd starting eleven when any of their back four...Neville,Ferdinand,Silverste,Heinze is injured so forgert it.Hope he signs but cannot see it as his verstaillity could prove invaluable.

Says in the gossip column on the bbc website 'gordon strachan has asked sir alex ferguson to LEND him john o'shea'

John O'shea is a billiant young defender, certainly must try our hardest to get him.

Suggested O'Shea would make a great signing in a TalkCeltic forum last week, got pelters from many who didn't rate him.....??
I welcome him, great signing even if on Loan with buying option at end of season.

 

can someone correct me if i am wrong-i thought you were only allowed two players a season on loan and we already have boruc and aliadiere.

I am the only one that thinks O'Shea is not a 'outstanding player'.

The man was dropped by Ferguson - during last season, due to his poor performances. Even Brian Kerr - dropped him for Alan Maybury..

Ferguson has stopped playing him in the centre of defence - and once played Keane in centre defence, leaving O'Shea on the bench.

I do think he will be a decent loan signing.. if the deal happens.

i think its 3 players...

Has the rules not changed the rules not changed this year on the amount of players you can have on loan. Iam sure i heard someone say that.
