  1. Seems to have really impressed up in Dingwall with County this season and been integral to their 9-game unbeaten run. Anyone think he could have a future here if he gets his chance?

Could see pre-season being massive for him and surely he deserves the same kind of opportunity that Ronny gave to Callum McGregor. Would love to see us attempt to bed in players like this.

So, what's everybody's thoughts on this?

I think he's a decent SPL level player, but not our level. Should be moved on

  3. Decent player, probably not making it here though..

  4. Can't say I watch 90 minutes of every County game myself, but would like to see him given an opportunity at least. All he can do in my opinion is impress on loan, and that's what he's done.

  5. Would like to give him a chance but I think he's nothing more than a spl player.

  6. Apparently moving him into CM has been key behind their good form.

  7. Only problem there then would be is he better than Armstrong, Johansen, Brown, Bitton? Probably not - but there's no harm in having a look.

Remember his game vs Liverpool in Dublin pre-season a few years ago, ran the show was brilliant, even though it was a pre-season still showed a lot of ability and confidence. Unfortunately CM is our strongest position at the moment.

  9. He would only be competing with Bitton for the DCM position for me.

Was at that and he stuck out like a sore thumb, when I think of who played well for us in that game he's the first I think of.

  11. Couldn't see him settling for backup after tasting first-team action this season, which would be the only concern regarding him staying. Would maybe even send him out on loan to the sheep to see how he does in a slightly more improved squad.

  12. He's worth trying out in pre-season. Impressed me anytime I've seen him for Celtic.

  13. I like him as a player. Done well in his loan spell at Killie as well as he was a regular pick for them too. Worth another look in pre-season, but like others have said already he is probably just at SPL level. But if he is content to be a squad player then he i think he is worth keeping especially when the Hoops going through a heavy fixture list during European group stages.

his contracts up in the summer i think

  14. Didn't know that, if that's true then he's probably off in the summer...shame to be honest.

  15. Why would he not challenge Brown as well? Just because he's captain? Being captain should not make you undroppable despite form and ability.

Bitton imo is a much better player than Brown, retains possession better and 9/10 finds his man with a pass unlike Brown and also has a lot more composure on the ball. Just needs to add a few goals to his game but Brown is not great in that department either. In fact over years near enough every CM we've had alongside Brown have been better players than Brown. Bitton, Wanyama, Ledley, Kayal, Johansen all better players than Brown. Some just can't seem to admit that Brown really isn't that great a player ability wise and is hugely exposed in Europe due to this.

  16. A dreadful specimen of a footballer

  17. Don't think he has the mobility to replace Brown in the team. Think he is too defensively minded to play anywhere but CB or Bitton's position.

He looked to be very similar to Bitton at Lansdowne. I would give him a season for sure.
