  1. Hugo Rodallega linked with Celtic, says in the BBC Sport Transfer Gossip section, cant find the article from the Evening Times but they have Quoted from it.

He would be a free transfer, spose he would be a good signing if we went for him, he is a good strong striker & does no his way to goal, sometimes goes off the boil but the service he will get at Celtic, he will get more chances in games so could turn out to be a good signing if we pull it off & if its true.

    What do you guys think?

  2. No for me... Want a big strong target man whos good in the air not a * version of stokes... Even on a free he doesn't appeal to me! Would much rather give bangura and watt a chance before playing him!

I would probably take him actually. Good player that can also play on the wing. He's being linked with everyone though because he's a free transfer. I would be surprised if this happened.

  4. Please no. Not what we need. We need a really good finisher that's what we lack.

  5. On a Free ?? Yeah baby yeah !!. If you ignore this season he's been ace for Wigan in the past, only problem is his consistency, it's a bit Samaras-esk. If given time, I'm sure he'd come good. Not sure about Wages (he was Wigan's record signing)

seen this on the BBC website this morning ..cant find anything on the evening times site though ...I think its an old story that has been resurrected not much news knocking around obviously .

  7. Seriously think he's a * version of Stokes?

Id say he was a success in EPL given club he was with.

  8. a good finisher :97:

We need a Sutton/Hartson type player. No height or brute strength in attack

  9. He's on massive wages at Wigan. He'll no doubt end up at another bottom table EPL club who's willing to pay stupid wages on a no too bad striker.
But as someone said earlier, free transfer...Celtic only club in Scotland who can sign such players, of course we're being linked.

  10. I wouldn't mind him coming to Celtic at all, seems like a quality signing if his wages weren't terrible. I don't reckon we'll get him though... he'll probably sign for West Ham or Norwich if they lose Holt.

  11. rather not, not the kind of striker we need and i dont rate him over stokes, samaras or hooper.

  12. Would be a decent signing, wouldn't break the bank in terms of wages for him.

  13. What like Hooper and Stokes?

  14. Wages could have a big say on where he goes. He is great on his day, but we really can't afford to be taking chances on this type of player.

  15. yes please. far better than stokes imo.

    naw, hes *

  17. i would * myself if we signed him great player would score for fun up here

  18. Don't think he's the type of player we're looking for... target man needed - having said Rhodes tops the list if media are to be believed...

Personally I would like to see 2 ST's brought in, as we only really have Hooper & Stokes but I don't think Rodallega is one of them... we need consistency from all our players... not sure this guy can offer that...

    Hail Hail

  19. If he can recapture his form From his first season with Wigan then he'd be a brilliant signing.
