Seems we definitely want that third choice striker in, Yamada and now this guy.

Does seem versatile, can play across the front 3, but stats aren't great tbh, 5 goals and 4 assists in 37 games in Serie B last year, albeit he is still young.

Does seem like he was very well rated for Napoli in their youth system, got 27 goals and 9 assists in 52 games.

A director of football who drives the culture of the club, signings, recruitment, etc so we are not in the position we are now where progress almost grinds to a halt every couple of years when the manager comes into last year of his deal.

You know, a modern approach where transitioning from one manager to the next is seamless bcoz they all play the same style and the players brought in for one manager suit the next.

Why buy a £7m striker when you can buy 3 or 4 cheap ones for £7m and increase ur chances of one of them being good enough that you can sell for a decent profit
