Ghosts

  1. I must say....if I was a ghost I would probably do something along those lines:56::56::56::56:

  2. :56:Belter

  3. Fair enough good point :50: just if you ask anyone in the scientific community about ghosts they'll 99% of the time give a big resounding no thats all I'm saying. I think rationality and logic eventually explain why people see ghosts. In fact theres a naturally occurring chemical in your brain called DMT and DMT can also be found in the wild and its a very very very strong hallucinogen, the strongest known to man in fact and they believe people who have alien abduction experiences, ghost experiences do so because of an imbalance of DMT. Also awake dreams(yes they're real) can explain some ghost stories.

All I'm saying is look for the logic before exploring the unknown. We're at an age of great scientific study and any popular phenomenon can be explained with a bit of logic.

  4. I'd be a properly mischievous * :56: why just scare them when you can mess with them non maliciously of course. I'd be like "Oh you can see me.........now you can't............oh now you can...............now you can't" :icon_mrgreen:

  5. TAB

    TAB

    Yes.

I can't stand the fake videos and programmes though.

    Fair doos KL.

Just keep an open mind though mate....an know that science doesn't have an answer for everything:50:

  6. Science doesn't have the answer for everything but if it did there'd be no need for science :icon_mrgreen:

Also to everyone reading take a look at this link

    http://science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs-myth/afterlife/ghost3.htm

howstuffworks is a very credible and excellent site. I didn't just find any old site for information.

  10. Never seen one and never want to see one. I can't imagine what it'd be like, but it's not somewhere I really want to go.

For the folk discussing "screamer" videos above (scary faces and shrieking sounds at the end of the clip), the trick is to pause it at the start if you're suspicious and then going down to read the comments. You'll soon know if it's a screamer video by the amount of expletives and insults being hurled at the uploader.

Trust me, I have enough experience of these things, thanks to my idiotic mates who think it's a joke to make me almost * myself at any given opportunity.

The clips in question are usually only about 20-40 seconds long too, that's another thing you need to watch out for.

  11. my daughters been saying there 3 people in her room, a man and a women and a child, we just found out last month that there was a fire and 3 people died, a man a women and a child

    now i think thats * * up!

  12. * thats crazy:56:

  13. i want one:56:

  14. that is creepy...so what you gonna do now mate..does she seem scared at all??

  15. nonsense in the traditional sense, I do believe some children are very sensitive to changes in air pressure and temperature etc (as well as being very good at eary wigging). Kids also have very active imaginations and the odds are that these mind wanderings will undoubtedly tally in with reality once in a while.

As for grown ups, you can convince yourself of anything if you think about it long enough. Imo "ghosts" are seen by those who want to see them.

  16. She says the kid is nice to her and likes to eat sweets lol... But she loves her room, she loves playing in there and reading stories, she's only 2 and is very smart for her age. Just need to wairt and see. But if there is ghosts then there not evil as they've done nothing lol

  17. I'm in the same boat as you. I've posted exactly what you have. Look at this link

    http://science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs-myth/afterlife/ghost3.htm

It explains common ghost sightings relatively easy and Howstuffworks is a dead relaible unbiased site. Its a subsidiary of Discovery.

  18. Remember hearing a story from round my way about a bus driver heading home after his shift late one night, halfway home he stopped to pick up a hitcher,he said the temperature dropped alot when the man boarded the bus,the man took a seat close to back of bus. When he finally got into town the driver turned round to tell the man it was as far as he was going but there was no sign of anyone, the driver was kind of freaked cause there was only the one door on the bus.
The driver found out the next day after telling everyone his story that there had been a fatal accident(a year to the day) exactly where he had picked up the man, also fitted the description right down to the clothes of the man who had died in the accident.Freaky
Still dont believe in ghosts though:56:

  19. Seems like one of those friend of friends stories to be quite honest. Chinese whispers are a great thing. If you read the link above it explains(not fully) how ghost may seem to appear to some.
