Will hists win the World Cup or not? Are they strong enough to compete with Brazil, Argentina, France, England, Italy etc, or will it be total disappointment for them?

Yes, but I believe in 'German legend' they may be lucky they have few decent players like Ballack, Schneider, Schweinsteiger and Podolski (he could have played for Poland if our FA had been quicker), only defensive is weak, but they can improve until 2006.

 

.....sure I agree and they play at home, but look at Brasil or Netherland or Argentina and for sure it gives strong African teams - Nigeria for example.....................it´s not easy to say how strong Germany is, but the great times are over. * they will loose against Poland - lol

I always go for teams like Spain, Mexico, Belgium, Ireland hoping to see some suprises.
The greatest footbal we can see is in CL, WC is not as exiting as it was 20 years ago. And refereeng can be important factor again. Referees will help Germans for sure.
