FAN TAKEOVER

  1. I would much prefer to see the fans take over the club like the liverpool fans are trying to do. How great would it be to own a part of the club. All moneys would be reinvested. If someone wanted to be president they would have to put up money for players.We would choose the board, If they werent doing the job we could do something about it because we would have the power. As big a club as Celtic is, it wouldnt cost as much to buy out as an EPL club would. We have little debt, a great stadium, & state of the art training facilitys, there's never been a better time for the fans to take over & invest in the club & lead us in the direction WE want to see the club go.

  6. How can it be stupid? Thats how Barca is run. Its just an idea. At least we could do something when we are unhappy instead of complaining

  7. And what would these 'FANS' do after the first defeat to the huns, * jump ship i bet, going by some of the messages about the team on this site after sunday, its pathetic!

    Barca is run by the city itself, not the fans, hence where there is a president etc.

  11. not all fans have the same idea so the club will be moving in different directions and other fans with other ideas will be complaining

    Bingo.

    Plus where would we be getting all the money for the transfers etc as well as the running costs and managing debt.

  13. Could you imagine it we could all get together and talk about signings.

    The convesation would go something like this.

    "We really need a LB"

    "Aye lets get a fiver from all the members and buy that Clichy bloke"

    "Great idea"

    "Oh wait a minute lets just have one more Swallie, * I´ve spent spent my fiver"

    "Oh well theirs always next year"


    Probably not so different from the now.

  17. I know what you all mean, I ment if we owned the club, the board would run the club, buy singings ect, but at the end of the day they would answer to us. so if we werent happy with the way the club was going, the next time the was a vote for president we would have say
