Enough's Enough's..

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by green_t, May 24, 2009.

  1. I've been one of Strachans biggest fans of late, bigging him up against the so called "anti GS brigade" , which to be honest, is a crock of *.

But today was the last straw in my eyes, he quite clearly cannot motivate the team. If that Celtic team cannot go out and beat Hearts then they don't deserve to win any title, they don't deserve to win a * raffle, never mind a trophy, that, today, was clearly not good enough, that today was clearly the straw that breaks the camels back.

All he had to do, was beat the diet huns today, but he couldn't even motivate the team to do that, so enough's enough.

Thank you Mr. Strachan, but you are no longer fit to run this football club, so thank you for your service, but it's time for a change, because that wasn't good enough today.

And I defy any Strachan Supporter to tell me different.

I wont delete what I said, but my Strachan supporter bit, was out of order, because I was a Strachan supporter myself, I appologise, I'm * right off, I was fighting with fellow tims in paradise today, thats how bad it was, we were all lost today, and our manager had no answer5 to it, and that's sad

  2. Yeam mate, good post

  3. Agree with you on this post.

  4. Yeah mate, I am sure I have seen you defend strachan countless times on this so no one can say you are anti strachan.

  5. I'll back the manager all the way. The whole season's been a gamble which he wasn't prepared to take. He could see the squad's flaws but could do nothing about it although I feel he left it too long (May 08-Dec 09) to try and fix it.

I would accept that he should take some blame as should the players, the fans and the back staff but nothing quite like the money men should.

  6. if he doesn't leave or get sacked, we should look to start an on line movement ie. petition's or protests.
We are being short changed and our loyalty is being taken advantage of by our gready controllers.

  7. the board will not sack him he will need to walk to leave the board adore him and am * sick of him the sooner he leaves the better and i have been saying this for months!!!!! am sick of his methods his football and his tactics and a just cant be botherd watching pish week in week out!

  8. Get him to *, we scrapped it last year and this year was a * joke; should never have lost the league.

  9. Mate, I have been with you all the way, I would not hear a bad word against him, but all he had to do was win a * football match today, nothing more, nothing less.

that team that went out today either didn't want to win the football match, or clearly wasn't capable of winning the football match, either way, it's not * good enough.

I'm always a glass half full kind of guy, but even I struggle to see the half glass full today.

    NOT * GOOD ENOUGH!!! :47:

  10. agree with everything said

  11. I'm pretty sure you and I have had our differences the last few days mate, but I cannot defend that today, it is indefensible.

Sometthing is inherently wrong at Paradise these days, and we demand - as Supporters - to know what?

  12. All we had to do was beat Hibs then Hearts and the title, which should have been ours long ago, would have been in the bag.

We couldn't do it. We couldn't beat either when we really needed to, we couldn't even score. Say what you want about Hibs and Hearts, we should be able to get 6 points there if the title is there for the taking.

The style of play is far too rigid, far too predictable. It's too slow and it's easy to defend against. We don't play with any pace, it's pedestrian. We play a lot of games like a pre-season friendly. We can play with a bit of tempo, we can pass the ball quicker.

Does the club need rebuilding? No, its not that drastic. A new manager could change the style a wee bit, get shot of a few and bring a few in.

But i have lost faith in Gordon Strachan. I don't dislike him. I just don't trust him as manager of this club anymore.

  13. Kieran, I have seen plenty of your posts, and if I'm not mistaken, you also were a WGS supporter.

It just goes to show how meekly we gave up today, it's not * good enough, and it's time for fresh blood, one way or another.

I would not feel so bad if we had went out with a bang today, but the fact is, we went out with a whimper, how galling is it, when the diet huns are singing "this is a training exercise", * disgraceful :38:

  14. Strachan's motivational qualities have been put under question before. I remember all to vividly us pumping the Orcs at Ibrox only to go in 0 - 0 at half-time, then we came out in the 2nd half and it looked as if we couldn't give a toss.

  15. things have gone stale under wgs this season and that is the reason he should go only 21 points out of 51 not could enough if you want to win the league previous celtic managers have been sacked for less time for a change and i think he will walk to be honest all season the tactics have been the same hesslink off sammy on no plan b get tae * and take those two planks of wood with u

  16. Who cares if you are pro-Strachan or anti-Strachan, tbh I have been both!!

Now i just want the best for Celtic and the best I'm afraid is to rid ourselves of Strachan.

He is continually driving the team downhill, and if he stays I fear we will only get worse next season!! No passion in the team whatsoever and no quality in our football at all. All in all, the team is * and no matter how much you like or hate Strachan, you have to admit that its Strachan's fault that we lsot the league and are playing so much pish.

  17. True mate i could'nt have put it better myself.

Don't see why the fans should take any of the blame mate

  18. First time I'v have said this, but Gordon must go.

  19. why did it take so many peope so long to wake up. I was probably an anti WGS brigade hater in some peoples eyes where in all honesty I was just calling it as I saw it. I am just a bit * offf with the fact that noone took me or anybody like me serious just because we felt there was somethig wrong with the way thing where going on in paradice. not sure if it would have made a differance but who knows
