Disgusted

  1. Utter, utter scum. You can say the guy deserved it for lashing out first but I think they went just a touch too far...

As for singing songs about the dead, real classy. * arseholes make my blood boil. I'm as anti-Rangers as the next guy but there's lines you don't cross.

  2. If some ned * insulted me or my appearance after I was originally civil you can bet that I would waste the *.

You would too. I refuse to believe anybody would put up with that *.

  3. If I was out numbered and facing a group of people who are drunk and likely to go too far, then i'd be more inclined to let it go.

  4. The story has went from the following:

A man is now a 16 year old boy.

"Ibrox disaster songs" are now turning into sectarian songs.

And initially this "man", the 16 year old, carried out the first act of assault, and yet now apparently he was entirely innocent.

    Someone is telling porkies.

  5. the other thing to consider is what would have happened if after they had insulted him and he just went and sat down they would probably still have attacked him because he would have appeared intimidated and made for an easy target

  6. Why?

I refuse to believe (unless you can seriously handle yourself) that it is a good idea to take on a group of 5 people.

  7. exactly. How did the meja get hold of this story? Had they an eye witness there?

  8. Obviously not FANS or they would have been at the game

    read somewhere 16:42 ...

Hope the kid is okay .... but anybody who smacks a drunk when he is in a group
is asking for trouble.... seems he got violent over the * remark...

not condoning pack behaviour of drunks but the kid should learn not to hit people older and bigger than him ...

maybe he should just have filmed them with his phone and went to the polis...

and smackin' someone when they tried to shake hands is bang out of order..
especially a kid who just got a kickin'

hope these big men are proud of themselves...

  9.

I can guarantee you every one of them are huge Celtic fans, three who go to pretty much every game and one who goes whenever he can.

  10. Which is arseholish behaviour, I'd probably do the same but if theres five of them I'd fully expect to grt my head kicked in.

It happens every single day in life episodes like this. Don't see why people believe this is a big deal. I've seen a lot worse for a lot less.

  11. Seriously ? These 4 guys are some of my best mates and I can tell you this is all just one stupid mistake which got out of hand, wishing death on someone because of a drunken mistake is out of order.

I have been mates with all 4 of them for quite a long time now and I can't see how people can call them "scumbags" etc, I completely understand, as do they, that it was a very very stupid thing to do but unless you actually know the guys you can't pass judgement on somebody because of a drunken mistake and stories you are reading on the internet.

  12. The demon drink,if this was a one off then they deserve a break. Some of the nicest blokes on earth have done things they regret when they were drunk, myself included

  13. You'll struggle to find anyone who hasn't came the * when plenty of drink is involved.

  14. The news article is making out as if all 4 of them leathered him. It was just one guy eh ? Think he just went a bit far tbh but can understand why he started smashing him after getting jabbed in front of a train full of folk.

  15. I still maintain you can't smash a * and then complain when he leathers you. No matter what team you support.

  16. Aye it was just a one on one, a bottle was thrown by another one of my other mates but it didn't hit anyone.

    Aye very true.

What did the guy expect after hitting the other guy?

  17. Just want to clear things up from what has been said on the Internet
The boy must of been 16 but did not by any means look tht age by "man" I meant about 19 or 20
And the beating was 2 guys at first but then one kept going back for more
As far as my opinion goes the boy was stupid to start the violence and deserved to be hut for it but the beating he took was not nice at all as I mentioned the bottle and hitting him when on the ground
I also have to agree that alcohol played a big part in this but you should know your limit to be honest .

  18. What you have said is certainly different to what I have been told by my mates but to be honest with the amount of drink they all had I would probably be better listening to what you are saying mate.

Of course the beating would not have been nice, it never is, I just want people to know that this is just a complete one off and these are all great guys and feel it is very harsh to call people scumbags, knuckle draggers etc because of this mistake.

Sadly I think a couple of them may have been past that stage where they knew their limits, I got the train up to Glasgow with one of them and met the other 3 up there and a couple of them were already past knowing their limit and because they stayed in the pub to watch the game they would have only got worse and has been said it's the demon drink, I know 100% had alcohol not been involved this would never have happened.

  19. the boy who went to shake his hand then pulled it away and hooked him. what a * scumbag. singin about the ibrox disaster is well just to far for me. dont think i woulda went for him knowin he was a tim n a bit on the drunk side but my pals a rampant hun and if he was doin that to him not that my pal would take it but i would probably draw the line there and forget about what team he supports. just sounds like the type of * you wanto avoid in town. pratt.
