Americans

i love each and every one of my celtic brothers and sisters. be you american, russian, sudanese, libyan, moroccan or afghan if you have celtic in your heart then your fine by me.

I, like others, have been equally impressed by the football knowledge of the american posters on the site. i thought everyone in america hated "soccer" but its obviously just the majority of people like american football and those with a brain stick with the real thing

 

* I am sick of those glory hunting fans and seeing those ugly jerseys haha. All of my friends dont understand why I like Celtic and not the big boys. I say STFU and who gives a * if I dont like the EPL or La Liga..

 

Love America and would like to move over there. Can't really say I've noticed that many americans on here to be honest. You're from Boston so I take it your celebrating this week??

 

With all of the American Glory Hunters the ones I hate the most are NFL fans. All I hear is go Steelers or Patriots. Give it a rest, I hate how many in our country just go for the good teams that "win" all the time. BTW I am a Ravens fan.

Still sore from Super Bowl 35 haha. You knew coming into it that the G-Men had no chance of winning due to their amazing defense.

 

yayaya :icon_mrgreen:, if kerry collins hadnt had such a blinder we might have had a chance, also the refs were pretty bad in that game, strahans interception that he returned for a TD was wrongly called back for a foul and that would have made the game 7-7 and you went on to score in the possesion , but anyway I also hate baltimore because I think it was wrong the way the owner just upped and left cleavland after all the history they had there

 

We've not all jumped on the Patriots bandwagon mate. I am a Dolphins fan and have been for 25 years. Yet to see them in a Superbowl.

The team I like most in the NFC is the Rams.

So I certainly can't be accused of being a glory hunter

 

Good the 'Fins are ok. I don't like the Patriots but I HATE THE STEELERS the most out of any team.

 

Personally feel as though I make a good contribution to the forum; I went to the game at Fenway, the game against the Philadelphia Union, and the Wembley Cup games. Have yet to go to my first competitive match, but I've planned my study abroad semester in Scotland at St. Andrews for Spring 2012 so I can get a half-season ticket and go to every game home and away and watch us win a title.

 

I can't stand the Steelers either. The Buffalo Bills are the only team I dislike more than the Steelers.

 

I've never really liked American football.

Anyway, how many members of this forum are American?

 

Scotland is nice place to study! I studied at Glasgow Uni.

I did hear that there will be no half season tickets this year though...

 

It's annoying when they say they support a club but can't tell you anything about them. Like a Man Utd fan only started supporting them because she had a crush on Beckham. etc...

I'm a Patriots man. Growing up if you supported any other NFL you would be out the house in a flash. Should I just hang my head in shame? At least I'm not a bandwagon fan.

I like all the American posters on here and I like it that you support Celtic even though you are so far away I know it must be a lot easier to support Barca or Man Utd or someone like that.

 

I have been to the States a few times and have found that Celtic fans are just as fervent there. I've been in Kells In Seattle (Charlie Tully Celtic Supporters Club) and the guys there are in the pub at 7AM their time to watch the games the lucky bstsds and some of them travel an hour to get there more power to the NACSC
