Anyone got exams or the like coming up this month? I've got 3 - 2nd yr Business exams.

Been off for 2 weeks now, havent lifted a book! Got my first exam on the 12th - Accounting - I * hate Accounting, cant wait to get it over with!

Can't get my head into gear for studying! If i spent my time on TC studying instead i'd be heading for a 1st class! Anyone else got the same problem?

Ah well its always the same for me, go into the break with all good intentions of studying long and hard but only end up doing last minute stuff - always do enough to get the result anyways but its a risky business! :icon_mrgreen:

When I was a student I tried not to do my studying at home as there were just too many ready made excuses not to study. Instead I went to the library and did the work there. I also set myself targets in terms of the number of hours I put in, generally 10am-4pm, which is hardly back breaking.

My big sisters in the same boat, doing international business at Strathclyde uni, got her 2nd year exams coming up. Ended up cancelling a lot of shifts from work and giving me her laptop to hide from 9am to 9pm every day.

I could probably do with taking a few leaves out of your books! :56:

Say 10am -4pm next Mon to Fri, with laptop out of bounds should do the trick!

I used to be terrible for procrastinating. But I set up an area of my room that was purely for studying and had my Mum remove any distractions (i.e xbox) from my room.

I have my first AS Level on Wednesday and I don't feel prepared at all.
Then I have my History AS on the 16th and again, haven't a clue but I have a weeks study leave for that so not too worried.
But to make matters worse, English coursework has to be in for Monday so I'm sitting here now trying to get it together when I could be revising for my exam on Wednesday:31:
If anyone has any ideas as to how Shakespeare presents Antony as a tragic hero feel free to let me know!:50: Lol

I might take a tc and internet break for a few months after I get word back from universities telling me what grades I need to enter uni next year. It's going to be an important few months for me.

You could reward yourself with TC after a hard day of studying.

Or you could study with TC by your side like me:icon_mrgreen: I wouldn't reccomend that though.

Haha! I allowed myself to finish a minute early because i studied with double-concentration for minute! :p

Nice going! I'll hit the books again in a while - it's not so bad once you finally get started!
