FOX News will probably back Israel but they are so right wing they make Mussolini look liberal but its not some big Jewish conspiracy like what gibsona had hinted at. FOX aren't Zionist, they are Islamophobic.

not really henke you dont hear about all things that hamas are up to 99% of the time you only hear when it becomes so bad that it all kicks off. then all you hear about is the death toll.

im not pro either side but i respect feed the bears point of view because he lives there and sees what is going on all of the time.

and there are celtic fans out there who do only support things like this because they are pro ira and see it as similar situation

fair enough, but israeli media are hardly going to come out and report on the gory details of the attrocities carried out by the Israelis so his view is restricted in ways that ours isnt, just as he has first hand experience which we dont. None of us have the full picture, we all interpret what little information we do possess, hence the differing opinions

An absolutely sickening and inhuman act by anyone's standards in my opinion is targeting civillians. Hezbollah targeted soldiers, and did a * good job of it. Before they set out on th cross-border raid, they called the mission:
And at the end of the day, that mission led to the freeing of Samir Al-Quntar and his comrades.

I wouldn't consider it a wonderful act if civillians were killed, I hate seeing civillians killed in war.

Hezbollah's problem is probably the fact israel invaded, occupied and oppressed Lebanon for year and stayed on Lebanese soil for years.

I think you should re-read my post. I was saying that Israel ARE committing state sanctioned terrorism.

I don't see the fact of living in a country at war makes you any wiser to the facts. They will get a lot of pro-Israeli propaganda on Israeli news. That is a fact in any country who is at war. It's always the other guys who are the bad guys.
I think you probably get a better idea of what is happening when you are on the outside looking in.
    Lol. Same post really.

i dont think i have an opinion on israel, i do. i've lived as a second class citizen in this british, protestant state but i know that the persecution that we suffered isn't anywhere near the same as what the palestinians suffer on a daily basis.

If you read the newspapers you'll get a lot of one sided opinion. Depends who the editor is and his political stance, but here in Malta we don't have that.
The Times of Malta very impartial when it comes to world events. They even called the IRA guerrillas when reporting on the war in Ireland.
The Guardian used to be very impartial if I remember.
If you read the Record or the Scottish Sun then, yes, I'd agree with that.

israel has now claimed 4 people have died, the palestinian death toll is at 345. the UN have condemned it but that means * all to the dead palestinians and their families. the UN are going to meet to discuss it but in reality they're going to do nothing as usual

According to news sources (Probably Israeli) most of the people killed have been Hamas military. Only 57 civilians have died.
This may or may not be the case as the hours and days go on.

is it,?are we talking about the same guys that told us Saddam could get us within 45 mins,or that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction,

or the same guys who had a dossier on saddam's weapons, they even had video of where they were,

even though the UN employed the world hide and seek champions in Hans blix ,he couldn't find them ,he said "i canny find * all" he was told ok Hans * off yer sacked we know where they are

lie,lie lie lie after lie,so me for one will never believe them again,

if what were told today is true ,that israel are being randomly rocketed every other day ,and asking hezzbullah to stop or we will retaliate

i personally don't see a problem with that

hezbulla if they stop ,isreal will stop, full stop

There are more than 1.3million arabs living in Israel with Israeli citizenship, full democratic right, health and education....there is also a large Christian population here, religious freedom is also encouraged.

I happen to live in a village where Druze, Christian, Mulim and Jew live side by side without any problem, so your obviously very wrong in your assumption. Yet another who spouts nonsense and calls it fact!

    Learn the history!

Wrong in that the news sources were Israeli.

First day of operation Hamas spokesemen (that's two of them) both confirmed 5 civillian dead and 115 Hamas "operatives"...their words.
