What a * chancer. Should have left looooooooooong ago.

I can't remember another footballer who valued money so much more than actually playing football and that is really saying something, since the modern game is littered with mercenaries.

Who Strachan or Balde? Balde has been treated shockingly throughout Strachans time at the club. Wether or not he likes him has nowt to do with it, Balde was a good player for us and just because he didnt want to leave his high paying job, he's being treated like this.. Banned from his workplace? Shocking treatment.

poor balde i loved the man great defender for us, maybe he loved the club not the money, plus who can blame him really, would you rather be on 30k a week at celtic or a lot less playing a relegation dogfight in the prem

i think its a two way street here,,to blame balde for everything is a bit unfair,i think anyone would be difficult to deal with if your bannished from the stadium, training with the youth players and being fined 100 k,dosent matter whos right or wrong both parties arent giving an inch and looking at ways of destroying each other,

strachan and stubborn,,now where have i heard that before

The blame lies with the manager who gave him a ridiculous contract before leaving.

personally i think big bobo showd us loyalty by wanting to stay.
he was given that contract to play on here and now we are trying to get rid of him.
he has said that his family and himself love it here,
so why should the man go? there is too many footballers nowadays that dont show loyalty and respect to their club and go chaseing the cash.
bobo hasnt and therefore we should be playing him and i like and respect the guy.

It's easy to blame everyone except the player. He was never Strachan's player, he didn't fancy him as a centre half which is his prerogative.

And money is all relative. It's not like asking someone who is getting paid 30,000 a year to take a pay cut to 25,000.

This is an already wealthy footballer on 30k a week, who could have moved to another club offering 25k a week. Most players, having been told in no uncertain terms that they were not part of the new managers plans would have moved on.

The only thing Bobo cares about is the cash. And now he wants to eke out just a little more before he drives doon the road. Sickening.

i feel for the big man, ok so wgs doesnt like him but hes been a great servant and for the most part played well for us.

people can go on about how he isnt playing so he should move on but what if he likes it in scotland? how many people here would just be able to up sticks in a place they are happy and move thier family?

I seem to remember that Bobe Balde had a few other offers when he signed his latest contract, and fans were goin nuts at the prospect of him leaving, he took alot of convincing to stay, so fair enough to Bobe, I have no problem with him sitting on the bench, it was Celtic that really pushed the boat out to keep him at Celtic. He was and is a good servant of the club, this whole thing seems like another case of WGS displaying his great man management skills.

Don't get me wrong I am not ant-Strachan it just seems to me that he really does seem to have relationship problems with some people.

I can't see why bobo reports celtic to fifa. he has the best job ever, doing nothing at all and getting a big * bank cheque every month. why does he need to complain?

I can see both cases here it is a shame the way Bobo has been treated by Strachan great defender for us,but Bobo's greed has made me think twice about the guy and now this he has enough money how much more does he need.

i used to think that way,but really if we dont know the whole story, then we cant blame strachan for being * at man management, although it seems that way ,looks can be deciving

The bottom line is when we were going through a diffucult period defensively, i.e. we were pish, Bobo was exactly what we needed but strachan being strachan ignored the big man, who has done a lot for our club. When gs was forced to play him against Dundee Utd it was the first clean sheet we'd kept in a long long time, too long, and guess who got man of the match?

Once again we have a player who for one reason or another the manager does not like so therefore he's being frozen out. It's like when your in a relationship that's starting to * you off but you can't seem to end it so you start being a */*. It's * disgusting for so called professionals.

I was always mystified as to why he was dropped almost immediately after that when other defenders returned fit...

I can see both sides here, although contrary to other peoples posts, I'd like to think Bobo would rather be playing and earning his keep and he stayed at us with a view of trying to get back into the team.
