I do believe the bullying story... it is clearly obvious the way he has been left on the bench since bringing back Maloney must be like a further kick in the teeth for him, I have said that ages ago and if McGeady is feeling like that I dont blame him for fighting back... people can only take so much critisism day after day before they explode. It's a saying that the celtic fan is the 12th man on the pitch but I find most peoples opinions pathetic to be honest... nobody knows what happened but yet still slating McGeady for doing something you don't even know what he did... what is that all about?

Personally if he is not getting the respect he deserves of the manager, the board and the supporters I would not blame him one bit for leaving, why stay and work your heart out on the pitch for people who don't appreciate your efforts and slate you even though they have no idea what for. Yeah he might be no ronaldo etc, and though it kills me to say this but I feel is 100% true, he never will be while he stays playing for Celtic. He is not getting to shine to his ability whereas he would elsewhere and in another club would also help his international career. Yeah I know bring on the anti-Irish comments now because if you ask me this forum seems to be full of one sided bigots or a load under 18's, can't really decide which at the moment. But been reading loads of threads all morning and am ashamed to be associated with a lot of you... which is something I never thought I would be.

If you not getting the respect that every individual in this world deserves get out McGeady and go on to bigger and better things because you can do it!!!

I see you've criticised people for getting on McGeadys back without much evidence but I can equally say the vice versa about you. Also if McGeady is going to become anywhere near World Class then that development will be done in the SPL title chase and with Celtic in the Champions League. He won't get such high pressure football anywhere else.

I actually think the majority of Celtic fans are/were on McGeadys side (fans against Falkirk). For me, until the facts come out surely we have to back the board/manager - he is simply too good a player for them to want to force out over nothing.

A kick in the teeth how? I'm not Maloneys biggest fan but he was giving us an end product when Aiden wasn't therefore deserved to be playing. They say Aiden can give us something special but has he ever scored a goal like Maloney did at Tynecastle?

Much like he is in his own head, a lot of fans severely over-inflate his worth to us. He is a quality player, especially in the SPL, but he is not indispensable. If he hasn't been playing it is nothing to do with any personal grudges or bullying it is simply that he is not the best player for the position for any one game in the managers eyes.

Could WGS take his suspension away if he wanted to?

he can't back down now even if he wanted to... lets just hope they can both put it behind them after the xmas and start the new year with the same ambition... winning the league and putting the huns to sleep.

Of course he can, he's the manager he can in theory do as he wishes.

I've yet to hear or see any apology though so once again the tabloids are printing bullshit.

No disrespect man but I never believe anyone who knows anyone in that footballers family. In my local pub there was someone spouting off that Charlie Adam is going to Dundee United for Scott Robertson plus cash. When he was asked who told him he replid with Scott Robertsons girl!

But if i am wrong I will apologie!

i just think its a disgrace, that fans are jumping down both mcgeady and strachans back.
nobody knows what happened or who is in the wrong.
theres a real divide now starting among the fans. some fans think the sun shines out of strachs * and can do no wrong. then theres the anti strach crowd who blame everything wrong with the club on him. from fans leaving early to the boards lack of spending. its really boring at this stage.

Poor lamb, shouted at and 'bullied' by those nasty, nasty men. My heart bleeds for him.

Over-rated and overpaid. Get rid asap.

I am pretty sure he can. Also he is the only one that can. The board usually could but they said they wil stand by the manager.:50:

Why do you not believe anyone in McGeadys family? Have you had previous dealings?

Dont blame you, I would be the same. I would think that some numpty was just trying to get his own point across. Obviously I know that I am telling the truth. But I really don't expect anyone else to believe it, just letting everyone else know.

Again, I have been told from McGeadys old man. I said that I have been told stuff when McGeadys dad was 1 foot away from me and could hear what was being said and didnt correct anything. If it was my boy and someone was spouting lies I would say something!

I was told on boxing day last year at the Dundee Utd game that WGS bullied the younger guys. It was Gary Irvines cousin I was speaking to. Didnt believe him. Thought he spoke crap. Then when I hear more and more things regarding the same type of comment, makes me think it is true.

As I have said previously, I dont expect to be believed. Just dont turn round and say that something has not happened when you have even less an idea than me. All you seem to say is you wil wait for the papers to come out and say something. Papers always tell the truth and the whole truth??

This whole situation is a shame really. It is a shame that the fans have been split, it is a shame McGeady has had the endure the whole situation (which he MAY have caused admittedly) it is a shame that WGS reputation is being called into question (and I am not his biggest fan)

Whatever happens this whole sorry affair needs sorted. I would say one thing, if WGS does bully younger players he needs to have a long hard look at himself. He is hardly a brick outhouse so it won't belong before someone snaps and chins him. Mind you bullies tend to pick on those they know they can knock about.

To reply to various issues raised, the most believable truth I 've heard is that young Aiden called Strach "Chesney" and then, when asked what the f**k that meant (i had no idea who Chensey was,as i live many miles away from the UK). He was told "an *", from there , well.. fisticufs at 10 yards....

PS, I have, no particlular love for Strachan, but i truly believe given, the players he has, what more?

The way I read it, it's probably not so much that Aiden is an * believing his own hype: I suspect he's one of those people who can't stomach what he sees as unfairness.

We are told (Daily Record, believe it if you like) that he wasn't actually the main target of Gordon's rant - it was aimed more at big Georgios and Scotty Broon. However, they did the wise thing and just let the coach blow off steam.

I think Aiden is a guy who will accept reasoned constructive criticism (look how he has transformed his game the past two seasons) but is not willing to put up with a spur-of-the-moment emotional rant. He needs to remember that the manager is only human too, and just cut him some slack.

I think, perhaps, we`re both trying to make the same point.......It happened, 2 different perspectives but rightly or wrongly the person that needed to apologise has done so.........the command structure is in place and has been placated...........move on. I seriously suspect Aiden will come back from this twice the player if allowed to.
