I'm 100% certain Strachan will play a more physical side after we were muscled out at Ibrox. I don't think Aiden would have started anyway, and I wouldn't be surprised if Nakamura didn't.

In the long run mcgeady could have made life very hard for himself ,even looking for a move ,his cv will look good as a player ,but as a teamplayer i dont think it will come up to scratch basically it will read .doesnt listen to rules or management .

He needs celtic more than celtic need him and whatever he has done he has been made to pay big-time ,* mend him ,,as for the ban does it matter that he will be out of the gers game ,,,is strachan going to say ,your barred this week ,then come back to play the gers ,and then your barred again ,it doesnt work like that .

Someone said earlier that more than verbal has taken place here ,im sure aswell ,theres no way GS would have banned one of his top players for that time ,for speaking against him ,if he has gone against club rules ,strachan is correct no doubt .

Nah, He'd play Nakamura instead of Samaras ( if he was planning on playing Sammy on the wing ). Samaras is hardly a muscle machine either, is he? He's probably lazier than Nakamura, at least Naka does track back and defend. Also you need to have some kind of creative player on the pitch and Nakamura is the most creative player in Scotland.

 

We dont know what happend exactly yet. I hope it doesnt ruin the season but i think it has already. but im sorry i have to disagree here, artur boruc having a * and pint which has caused him to play * on several occasions this season costing the team points does have effect on how the season may turn out

 

Maloney will get a start before Sammy does in midfield, but I would play Samaras up front...his pace is enough to frighten the life out of the huns. Not so sure this is a game for Sheridan though...maybe second half but I'd give McDonald the first half at least.

 

Speaking of unfounded points, why exactly do you dislike Strachan?

 

There are a lot of assumptions flying around here, not least the assumption that McGeady was being fairly criticised but couldn't take it like the other boys could.

How the * do yous know that Strachan wasn't being TOO harsh on McGeady? The 'player source' in the herald suggested that GS spent a lot of time sticking it to McGeady, and McGeady took it on the chin UP TO A CERTAIN POINT! It's definitely not beyond the realms of possibility that Gordon being Gordon (wee arrogant * at times) let his dislike of McGeady as a person take over and made him be critical to the extreme.

Why? If you have a pool of players at your disposal and a run of important fixtures then you would naturally want the best players on your team fit and ready.

In this case people are moaning saying McGeady is out for the Old Firm game and we need him. OK WGS has decided that discipline is more important and is standing firm.

The point is do you think he would have the same reaction if we were talking about several players at fault?

 

I'd agree but he's out 'til Jan mate. That's why Sheridan got in and Sammy got LW for me.

 

Think GS would have just put him in the reserves instead of this scenario

If players were turning up drunk to training during the season, I'd suspend and fine them all. Thats a serious lack of professionalism and they have no excuse.

You'd of course support the players in that scenario, are you for real??

 

I'd ban every one of them and get the youth team in. I'm sure all professional managers, and most fans, would agree.
